I am ting very hard to like this pick… but I am having a hard time.

imo QJ is going to have a steep learning curve, particularly in man coverage; more physical situations. His body type reminds me of a once upon a time Danario Alexander. But shorter and less built. His route running is not elite. Contested catch % is suspect.

One more thing, LT is a TCU guy and I wonder between Zay Flowers and Quentin Johnston, who would he preferred?

40 yd dash doesn't equate to football speed. But if you look at how he plays. He plays like he's a big body and he's not. Mike is almost 6 ft 5. This guy is closer to Keenan build wise. I'm not saying he isn't a good wr. I'm just saying he isn't a Mike will. He's got potential. But I would have rather traded down. Just my opinion tho.

I bet he blows MW career wise. MW has never lived up to his 1st round pick. He is always an injury waiting to happen. I'm ove MW and Keenan. It's time to move on and get more explosive at a position that will compliment Herbert.

Interesting. Reminds me a little of MW.

They took the wideout with size, and sacrificed elite speed... which was clearly understood to be a significant deficit for the Bolts' offense.

I figured edge was the bigger need, with Miles Murphy and Nolan Smith there for the taking.

So it's not the most logical pick, by any stretch of the imagination.
