Pretty funny if there's a bunch of talented players on the clock at #21 ...and the pick is in...Guard from such and such school....(the groans would come out) LOL!

      Quentin Johnston WR TCU

This is the WR in the '23 draft with the highest upside.

There is elite, Stefan Diggs level, stop/start. Combined with this are long strides. The result is an ability to produce explosive plays from yards after catch and by getting deep.

By 2024 Johnston will refine his raw game and transition from WR#4 to WR#2, as the contracts come into play.
There is a lot of risk with QJ, I've seen enough bad reps to be scared away unless we really believe in our WR coach and if Williams and Allen can embrace him the way theyve done Palmer.
as a fan I can never sign off on QJ because I need to know (or have clue about) his intangibles.
is he going to rely on his physical ability or actually learn the position? Has he been doing that? Looks like it honestly.
I gotta know he is instrinsically motivated to maximize his gifts.

I get the "Clowney" vibes, from my outsider, vantage point.

LOL! You know that there will be differences of opinion among fans in that moment as always.
The Chargers will be true to their off season work and their board.

No idea about Spiller. Most had him a good value where we drafted him.
I definitely believe that Moore has a better plan for OL run blocking, a better OL to do it with and a better plan to maximize offense.

            I like him.

I would rush to the podium to select him.
            Are there character issues?
            Does he have dropsy issues?

            Otherwise, he's a modest man's Calvin Johnson.
You can do a lot with him to complement the other receivers.

Agreed. I dismissed him at first glance, but Wood is right, highest ceiling, potential needle mover.
If he hits, he can be among the elite and specifically for us, would have as good a chance as anywhere.

So, Quinton Johnston is a poor man's Calvin Johnson...can we call Quinton, ahem, "Minitron"?

I think for sure Philly drafts Bijan. Letting Myles sanders walk. You will see a run to draft Bijan Robinson in fantasy like never before. Probably since Zeke went top 2 as a rookie behind that great offensive line. Bijan behind the best offensive line in football and Jalen Hurts. That offense it’s a beast. We haven’t even talked AJ Brown and Devonte Smith. Wow Goodell needs to just run up to the Podium now. Stop fantasizing Chargers fans it ain’t happening.

as for Quinten Johnson he looks like a guy who played here David Boston. I’d like to go for the technician Addison over him. I would do cartwheel flips if we drafted Jaxson. I want us to draft Jaxson. He’s the best receiver.

Kincaid is the best tight end but Darnell Washington has the best upside. If you just look at him can he run routes? Can he take care of the middle of the field? Then we should be alright.

People want Guyton back, you want to feed him any catches? If not why bring him back?

We might be sitting very pretty at 21.
PFF keeps saying there is approximately 20 guys with first round grades.
there is always a surprise pick, usually by New England.
hopefully 4 QBs go before our pick
and as many OL guys since we don't need starters.
Besides Carter, we have our starting iDL too so I don't think we have much interest in Kancey or Bresee, hopefully one or both can push another option down to 21.
or for those wanting to trade down, we at 21 might be the perfect spot a team might want to jump to.

                        Thanks Miami.
