With regard to depth at DT...
SJD.
Fox.
AJ will be back by midseason. However this is probably his last season with the Chargers. This makes Benton a sensible pick.
Tito will be gone for most, if not all, of the 2023 season.

Wow, if those guys are really out for that long they should have resigned Fehoko
Good listen.
When a vet football player like steve smith opines on players from his position group, it pretty much trumps anyone.
He like Addison the best, says he has he highest upside, says he can run routes at all three levels, says he has the fluidity and athleticism to do it.
he likes flowers probably second,'
he likes the Ohio State lad - compares him to Julian edelman in his short area quickness,
he likes Quentin Johnston, but is wary of a few things about him, particularly in going after contested balls - he's not very good at it;
implies that Johnston is too passive;
he does not seem to like Hyatt - mentioned that he has very little exposure to press coverage.
Obviously I would be thrilled with Bijan Robinson, but I find it hard to believe. Nothing against Mims or Schoonmaker, but I would be a little concerned with no defensive tackle or pass-rusher in the top three rounds.
the rumors that Jack Campbell could be off the board mid first round, wouldn't surprise me so much as the all of the Pats, Packers, Commanders and Steelers could all use an I/MLB.
and not the guy I pine for, and.... do think Bresee could be a good pick @21, and.... would love to follow that up NT, LB !! then throw in a CB, S day three, and then sign Van Noy & Callahan.... think our D'd be pretty good w/the all of that.
think this is who we're gonna have to choose from....
DE Myles Murphy, ED Nolan Smith, WR Jordan Addison, CB Deonte Banks, TE Michael Mayer, WR Zay Flowers, TE Dalton Kincaid, DT Bryan Bresee, OG O'Cyrus Torrence, TE Darnell Washington, RB Jahmyr Gibbs, NT Mazi Smith, CB Cam Smith, CB Emmanuel Forbes, CB Kelee Ringo, WR Jalin Hyatt
ED, WR, CB, TE, DT, OG, RB, NT.... where does position of need match up w/bpa for you ??
and for round two.... ??
ED/LB Drew Sanders, OT Dawand Jones, ED BJ Ojulari, WR Josh Downs, ED Isaiah Foskey, S Antonio Johnson, RB Zach Charbonnet, TE Sam LaPorta, ED Derick Hall, NT Keanu Benton, DE Tuli Tuipulotu, CB Clark Phillips, OC Joe Tippmann, WR Cedric Tillman, NT Siaki Ika
ED, LB, OT, WR, S, RB, TE, NT, DE, CB, OC.... ??
and round three.... ??
OG Cody Mauch, OT Matthew Bergeron, RB Devon Achane, LB Daiyan Henley, TE Tucker Kraft, DT Gervon Dexter, CB Tyrique Stevenson, WR Marvin Mims, WR Rashee Rice, S Sydney Brown, OC Luke Wypler, WR Tyler Scott, WR Nathaniel Dell, RB Tyjae Spears, CB Garrett Williams, CB Darius Rush, ED Zach Harrison, WR AT Perry, DT Karl Brooks, S Ji'Ayir Brown, S Jammie Robinson, ED Byron Young (Tennessee), WR Jonathan Mingo, DE Zacch Pickens, CB Tre'Vius Hodges Tomlinson, ILB Noah Sewell, RB Roschon Johnson, RB Zach Evans, DE Byron Young (Alabama)
looking over my last post, there are a coupla few queries that intrigue me....
will our FO go RB round three, as they seem to have missed out on their RB of choice by selecting JT Woods round three, as seems their target went by the wayside before our selection round four ??
which does Staley value more round two.... ED or CB ??
and which type of TE does Moore prefer for his O.... Darnell or Kincaid ??
