Does it bother anyone that MH2's dad, HOFer MH1 might be a murderer?
hasn't been a problem this far, but could that whole philly shooting thing come back to haunt us if we draft MH2?

P2. Shocking Effort - Eboigbe
P3. Ball Disruption - Ford

Yeah when that happened it didn’t get a lot of talk because Marvin Harrison jr. Had such great character. Can you rehash it what we’re the trial facts?
was this a self defense thing?
I don’t think it would make that much difference with him on the team.
He would be a true Jamar Chase for Justin Herbert.
I would also need to know where MH2's head is at
his dad might be an exception, but WRs are traditionally known as Divas, now couple that with being the greatest WR prospect since megatron-level hype?
what happens when we undoubtedly hit some turbulence on the field?
Will MH2 over shadow Herbert? Will Herbert shell-up or lead his way out?
can he ever NOT throw it to MH2? One of Herbert's strengths is throwing it to multiple receivers and not feeding 1 guy--well this season it was all Allen, but that was out of necessity.
point being, is MH2 a good fit for the type of QB Herbert is?
I'm not so sure.

Ya and it helped that it was years after his retirement.
I don't have the facts, but it was outside a bar MH owned in Philly and I don't remember anything about a self defense argument. iirc, it was, lack of evidence thing. But something to chew on that shouldn't be ignored.

Bowers is renowned for his character and projects as a fit on the field as well as in the locker room.
less risk imo. I'm not counting anything out, but idk if I see the on-field potential of a MH2 that much more than a Bowers that justifies the risk involved.
I'll keep an open mind as reports inevitably come in.
just leaning Bowers rn.

The name of the game is Tankathon.
Get Focused.
Bowers ~ #6 overall.
Alt ~ #7 overall.
Let the debate begin.
Alt doesn't make sense to me, why would they move Slater to guard? my thinking is that if bowers or the receivers are all gone, then you have to focus on the defense and address center in the 2nd round by either drafting the best LG available and moving Zion to center or by drafting the best center, early in round 2 is where the drafts best centers usually go...

The offensive line can be sorted out.
Talent level and position value have me favoring Alt.
from what I know about what happened to Linsley, it's very likely, especially given his age, that he will retire this coming offseason...it's absolutely insane what a difference he makes for the offensive line, without Linsey the chargers weren't even average after going into the season with a potential top 12 type of line...

I'm all for drafting O-line, I've always argued that you have to continue to invest on the O-line it high in the draft regularly, the better organizations in the league always seem to draft one somewhere in the top 4 rounds year after year...I like the player, but I don't see how you can pass up on bowers or one of those receivers...
