No way Bowers drops outside the top 10 !
There's a DE who could be there too.

Yes, he can drop out of the top ten...Just depends on draft needs of each team...there could be 4 QBs taken inside the top ten and this could push him down to 11-13 draft range.
Chiefs won the Superbowl with 10 Rookies....

I think it was both - UM defense was tenacious and it got to him. Big deficit, continued pressure, UM DBs were mugging Odunze all game long - Harbaugh had a great game plan and they executed it to neutralize UW’s explosive offense.
You mean University of Oregon (UO) don't you? OU is Oklahoma University just sayin

Picking at #5 just seems the sweet spot in this draft for not needing a QB. Top talent or trade down for a haul.

It happens...Derwin dropped all the way out of some draftniks' top-5 lists to us at #17...
            22 - TE Mason Taylor
            55 - RB Quinshon Judkins
            86 - DL Josiah Stewart
            125 - G Dylan Fairchild
            158 - C Jake Majors
            181 - WR Donte Thornton

it is probably missing out on MHJ, but after that we have anyone we want. we are not on gold medal podium, but pick #5 is the best silver medal.

The way I see it is if MH2 is there at #5 because 4 QBs go before us we take him there. If he gets drafted before us at #3-4 then there will be a desirable QB for someone with a trade out scenario dropping 3-6 spots. I would laugh really hard if we drop 5 spots and Bowers is still there for us to draft. This is a much more likely scenario and if he's gone he's gone. Not going to lose sleep over a good TE.

Win - Win, it would appear. Sit tight, see what falls.

For obvious reasons, there's only *so* far the Bolts would consider dropping. I'm guessing that there will be three or four players, any of whom the Bolts would be happy to acquire, that would be the target after trading down. That would mean they wouldn't be trading down any lower than #10 overall.

Interesting commentary on Sirius this am. Thoughts about Bears tagging Fields and taking a QB @#1.

I still curse that Prater missed fg that cost us the 4th pick!
