I have no doubt Telesco will spend the top picks on skill positions like CB and WR but what this team really needs is an upgrade in the Trenches.

Our OL and DL gets pushed around at will by the opposition and it makes it harder for Herbert, RB’s, CB’s, LB’s, and Safeties.

Yeah after seeing how many attempts we had to make at the goal line yesterday and how our O line got treated like pansies these trenches are Not finished.

This RB class isn't that great compared to the last couple but there are a couple guys early I'd like to get as I've wanted us to do the past 3 years.

I'm interested to know what RBs in round three do you like over Benson?
I just think he is a round 2 guy but sure ....he could not do something at the combine and drop to round 3 but it won't be because he ran slow and I just doubt he goes that far down.

I don't know if he will run in the 4.3s.....and don't care. 4.4 to 4.45 Is good imo.

Got nothing against Rahirm Sanders, but he isn't Benson and not the pass protector Benson is either.
Another 4th round RB...we haven't had much luck there. Well 3rd round I guess you see him as. I see 4th- 5th. And he has only played in 4 games this year so he has been hurt but don't know what he injured.
I know you love Kelly ...well there I guess i disagree lol.
He has been better but he isn't a RB #1 imo . I'd only bring him back cheap like under 2 mil.

for myself, pretty much down to 2 backs given that Brooks is out of consideration.... like Daijun Edwards round three and Sanders day three/in the fourth, as got no problem going back 2 back for RBs.

and don't think Cedric Gray is gonna last 'til day three, so hoping/looking for an additional third rounder to get the both of him and Daijun.

and not sure that I love Kelley so much, and rather I never gave up on him, and when plenty of others here had.... think he's an RB3 btw.

and jftr, still like D'Ernest Johnson in FA ($2m/year), and would take the either or both of Ulysses Bentley IV and Miyan Williams as UDFAs if possible/available round 8.

ps. my personal suspicion is that Benson is a third rounder, albeit not sure that Edwards is the better get (albeit I personally prefer Daijun over Trey) ??

I have posted this before, as have some others...but if we end up failing this year, and we need a reset, I'm trading up for Herbert's best friend for the next 10 years...Bowers or Harrison jr.

Might hamper a true rebuild, but if you get a special connection, like Mahomes/Kelce or Burrow/Chase...a lot of other problems tend to solve themselves. Herbert/Bowers or Herbert/Harrison Jr. sounds awfully good...with Palmer, and Q if he turns out to be what we hope...that could be a hell of a group.

I do like Brooks. He might be ready sooner than later. and might be able to get him as a bargain now and sit on him til he can come back.


Also like Henderson and though i dont have a strong like for him, I appreciate Corum.
Good balance and jukes but for some reason he just isn't a big interest for me as he is for others. Just a feeling. Maybe its his short choppy running style, idk. I'd support the pick though.

Edwards is an intrigue as well.

After those it's hope to hit on a later round guy but I'm still holding out for a earlier pick RB. Or a FA RB.

Just for me, I'd be excited if we landed Benson.

7-10 seems about right at this point, that's probably not bad enough to get top 10
