11? Sorry if I missed your trade-scenario post, but what did we get in return for the move from #5 to #11?

Another question...say we do move down to #11, and let's say the following players are all off the board:

Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, MHJr, Nabers, Jaylen Daniels, Alt, Fashanu, Odunze, Bowers, and Dallas Turner

Who would you draft?

I didn't post a return for trading down as that is irrelevant for I'm talking about. We will get good compensation

As for who is on the board, no chance those QBs are in the board, except maybe Daniels, MHJ won't be...or maybe he will. Don't care.

As for the others I'd draft Bowers. We are not going to draft a WR in the first round. Turner isn't my top edge rusher. Id take Latu and think if lean Chop Robinson over him.
RT would be nice but I'm more for fixing the middle of the OL and get a RT later if possible or snatch one after a cap casualty cut.
Just think Bowers offers a lot and is a big need at TE and I'd label him a definite weapon.

Powers seems a little high @#11. Fuaga I could get behind. Not the elite pass blocker... but I hear we're gonna run the ball. Chop seems a little high @#11 too. Arnold... gimme his teammate or Quinyan and it's a deal!

Who cares...There will be 5 other players of good repute to take at a position of need. Bowers is a good player but not a game changer like some here think. I'd rather have McConkey in the second round versus Bowers at #5. If people thought QJ was over drafted the Bowers thing will dwarf that at #5 pick!

You can’t draft of need in drafts that gets teams in trouble. You take best available. If Patrick Mahomes is on the board you deal with it. If Randy Moss is on the board you deal with it. If Fred Taylor is on the board you deal with it. If Adrian Peterson is on the board you deal with it.

Detroit took 3 receivers busts analyst were actually telling them don’t take Calvin Johnson cause all thier receivers bust hall of famer.

If Marvin Harrison was in thier lap I’d say draft him. But after Harrison is Bowers and I do Have Bowers ranked ahead of Alt.

He would’ve been drafted before Sam Laporta Luke Musgrave Dalton Kincaid Qunentin Johnston and Zay Flowers.

Baltimore would’ve run two tight end sets. So I don’t want to hear it.

And comparing Brock Bowers to Quentin Johnston is just no comparison. Not one team was taking Quentin Johnston over Brock Bowers.

Brock Bowers never had drops problems at Georgia. And I think the national championship game everybody was saying give me Bowers don’t give me Johnston.

I agree with the bolded. Not sure I'd take a WR in the 2nd tho. I think they'll be looking for a center or DT or... a number of other good players in the 2nd round. I'm not against WR in the draft. But we'll be committed to the run game this year. WR depth after the 3rd round is an option. BPA @ PON every round.
