Rattler's stock is rising...he was MVP of the Senior Bowl, went 4/4 for 65 yds. in just two drives...if he's still there in round 6 or 7, might be worth a look for our backup...

So Im into the Bortolini tape...vs Illinois, Iowa...this kid is really good! Turns out the knock on him is his actual snapping of the ball...he is a versatile lineman who got pressed into the Center position this year...his shotgun snaps are like lobs...dont really zip back there...geez. we can fix that, I would think. As a blocker, he is very good, run and pass...good Senior Bowl, good Combine...I am giving him position 3 over Van Pran on the Centers list.

If I'm drafting a C, I don't want a project who MIGHT not work out on shotgun snaps or any other part of his game...I want a COMPLETE player with a legit sample of a body of work...now, if yer talking keeping Borto at G, I might listen...

I think this is a real possibility.
Arizona doesn't want to build around Murray - he's their previous GMs miss,
and the Giants do not want to build around Jones.

McCarthy was just 20 last year and he makes a lot happen from inside the pocket ... when the initial reads aren't working, which is the new NFL.
He reportedly has run a 4.48 40 at Michigan.
