I think MN does that deal as they have a GM on the hot seat so what does he care about 2025Originally posted by Topcat View Post
There's a good chance now that McCarthy moves up to #4...if you're a GM in the hot seat, do u do that deal? I would say there are some who will...
Granted, might be able to do the deal for 11, 23 and a conditional pick in 2025 - 4th becomes a 3rd
But if AZ trades back to 11 - they have to be willing to pass on MHJr

I'm hearing very strongly to look for McCarthy at #3 to New England. I still don't see 4 QB's in a row. However, if that happens, I'll be the first to pop the champagne though.Originally posted by Topcat View Post

Hearing a lot of good things about Dominick Puni OT out of Kansas lately. Definitely flying up the boards.
Didn't allow a single sack or hit playing starting left left tackle.
Apparently looked terrific at Center.
Looked great at Guard.
3rd-quickest 20-yard Shuttle speed for OL's during the combine.
Could be a good day 2 or 2nd rounder depending.

What if MIN decides they can live with the 5th QB in this draft ?Originally posted by Topcat View PostNow the Cardinals are reportedly asking for THREE 1st rounders to trade down from #4:

Cardinals Want THREE First-Round Picks For No. 4 Overall Selection But There Are Issues Getting ThatThe 2024 NFL draft begins when the Chicago Bears make the first pick the evening of April 25 and no one is arguing that. But the intrigue begins several picks later when the Cardin

Call AZ's bluff.
Chargers accept a lesser trade.
There are a world of possibilities.
The poo is being flung by teams and agents as I type.
Look out.

Yep...I would say no to the Cards if I were the Vikes...think of it...the Cards have Murray, so they're apparently NOT going to draft a QB, so the Vikes don't even really NEED the Cards...makes sense to deal with US...Originally posted by wu-dai clan View Post

The Bears fans would howl if they miss out on Williams and have to settle for Nix or Penix...and the Chigago media would crucify Ryan Poles...Originally posted by blueman View PostI tell ya, smart move for the Bears is MHJ with the first, then QB at nine, Penix or Nix. Why not?

If it’s 3 QBs and MHj gone, EVERYONE has to deal with us. King’s ransom on its way!Originally posted by Topcat View Post

I think because QB is by far the most important position in football and Caleb is far better than Nix. They could walk away with Caleb and Odunze which is pretty killer. Much smaller gap between MHJ and Odunze than the QBsOriginally posted by blueman View PostI tell ya, smart move for the Bears is MHJ with the first, then QB at nine, Penix or Nix. Why not?
