I don’t know any of this jazzy stuff, we grew up on rock n roll like normal American kids.

I used to play at Bacchanal, that club rocked hard. I’m kinda sad to learn they were hosting Tuesday night jazz jams behind our backs while we were sleeping off the weekend . Eh, bygones…

Or is is that farther north - like Del Mar or Solana Beach

And with the 5th pick -- I really like the trade down. Need 4 QBs to be top 5 picks.
Yep, it’s Solana Beach. Great venue to play in, they treat bands well and have great sound - a separate sound engineer runs stage monitor system which is cool, like how House of Blues runs. Very few do that.

for us trade downers.... 'tis a cautionary tale, as was looking over the last bit of drafts, and trading outta the top ten and into the teens (let alone the twenties) is oft ill advised, as the Frank Ragnows/Justin Jeffersons are the exception to the rules/few and far between.... the back half of the draft is prolly a really high risk, and considering where you were to start (5 overall).

One of These Nights isnt' top 5 Eagles, much less Top 5 overall. its a very good pop song but wasn't really completely their signature sound. Hotel C is hands down their signature opus and #1, zero question. Next up group1 would be Take It Easy, Desperado, Lyin Eyes, Already Gone, and Take It To The Limits. Nights is group 2 with Peaceful Easy Feeling, Witchy Woman, Best of My Love. jmho, everyone feels music differently. no right or wrong, ...

                  ... except I'm right
Not sure if it’s been mentioned but History of the Eagles is a fantastic documentary.

Someone should make a chart that has the expected win value added by each spot in the draft so teams could see if a trade down nets then more expected wins, fewer expected wins, or the same but in different shapes. That way we wouldn't have to just generalize top 10 into teens or 20s because I'd imagine there's much different value in pick 1 and 10 and 11-20.

I think for me, trading down to Atlanta - very much on board - I want great value but its still a top 8 pick and with QBs off the board, probably getting a really good non QB
Trading down to the Vikings - would have to be a big time overpay
I don't want to trade down any lower than the Vikings - prefer to just move to 8 - get the top 8 pick and the extra capital and go from there

I'm firmly in the 'trade down' group but I would like to see them stay ahead of Denver and Las Vegas, so trading down as far as 11th with the Vikings is probably as low as I would feel comfortable going...in that area from 6 to 11 you can still grab the #1 prospect at Edge, Corner, or perhaps even OT or TE if like I think the QBs and the WRs will be the first to go in the top 5...so sixth overall and below you can still come away with a "top" type player whoever you guys like as the best Corner, Mitchell, Arnold, etc... or the top Edge player whether that's Verse (my guy), Turner (also my guy but behind verse), or Latu, from 6 to 11 players like Fashanu, Alt, Bowers etc will go in that span, plus one of the top WRs might still be around as well...I'm really hoping that the chargers trade down but also that they stay within that "sweet spot" area...

I feel like atlanta might be out of the trade up mix by the time the draft rolls around, I would love to see Justin Fields end up there, it just makes too much sense, Atlanta getting the hometown hero QB might be too much to pass up...their fanbase would probably go ape shit...I think Atlanta will offer Chicago more in trade for Fields than anyone else...
