Yes, it was. And over the years, it absolutely transitioned from light jazz into easy listening. Back in the 80's, they promoted Ella Ruth Piggee and Fattburger.
Gigs were commonly held in those two joints on Claremont Mesa Blvd-- The Bacchanal was one. Blanking on the name of the other.
I used to play at Bacchanal, that club rocked hard. I’m kinda sad to learn they were hosting Tuesday night jazz jams behind our backs while we were sleeping off the weekend. Eh, bygones…

for us trade downers.... 'tis a cautionary tale, as was looking over the last bit of drafts, and trading outta the top ten and into the teens (let alone the twenties) is oft ill advised, as the Frank Ragnows/Justin Jeffersons are the exception to the rules/few and far between.... the back half of the draft is prolly a really high risk, and considering where you were to start (5 overall).ED Matayo Uiagalelei, DT Dontay Corleone, OC Iapani Laloulu, CB Domani Jackson, OG Earnest Greene III, WR J Michael Sturdivant, LB Eric Gentry

Its not my favorite Zep song, but its their top song.
One of These Nights isnt' top 5 Eagles, much less Top 5 overall. its a very good pop song but wasn't really completely their signature sound. Hotel C is hands down their signature opus and #1, zero question. Next up group1 would be Take It Easy, Desperado, Lyin Eyes, Already Gone, and Take It To The Limits. Nights is group 2 with Peaceful Easy Feeling, Witchy Woman, Best of My Love. jmho, everyone feels music differently. no right or wrong, ...

Trading down to the Vikings - would have to be a big time overpay
I don't want to trade down any lower than the Vikings - prefer to just move to 8 - get the top 8 pick and the extra capital and go from there

I'm firmly in the 'trade down' group but I would like to see them stay ahead of Denver and Las Vegas, so trading down as far as 11th with the Vikings is probably as low as I would feel comfortable going...in that area from 6 to 11 you can still grab the #1 prospect at Edge, Corner, or perhaps even OT or TE if like I think the QBs and the WRs will be the first to go in the top 5...so sixth overall and below you can still come away with a "top" type player whoever you guys like as the best Corner, Mitchell, Arnold, etc... or the top Edge player whether that's Verse (my guy), Turner (also my guy but behind verse), or Latu, from 6 to 11 players like Fashanu, Alt, Bowers etc will go in that span, plus one of the top WRs might still be around as well...I'm really hoping that the chargers trade down but also that they stay within that "sweet spot" area..."The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post.
