I would guess that bad evals happen because GMs select so few qbs during their tenure, and very few area scouts have ever played the position.

Field's ceiling is far below the guy sitting at pick #1 ..... you make the upgrade period, particularly when you have another pick in the top 10.

Slater, Salyer, Johnson, Pipkins and the new C will block Last years training and play calling were garbage. We lost C Linsley. This isn't last year.

Multiple quality receivers are an absolute need. The O still features Herbert and we can't count on KA, Palmer playing 20 games

I agree with this part .... a Mike Goff impersonator who has been toiling on some lesser offense behind a 2nd rate coaching staff.
Mid-level, you won't go dumpster diving to find him .... some cash strapped GMs will drive the price up a bit.

Competent GMs/head coaches find these guys ..... clueless GMs/head coaches never do.

Bozeman fits in several ways.
Draft a midround road grader, such as Haynes, Beebe, Mahogany etc.
Move Salyer to ORT to battle with Pipkins and Sarell.
It may be that our whole problem is Center-Right Guard, as much as I like Salyer as a baller.
