I keep saying that the finances of these picks absolutely matter to these teams. You don't overdraft a player and pay them an extra couple million dollars if you don't have to. That's the whole argument as to why Bowers will not go until #10 at the earliest. I still believe he goes later. Finances and positional value.

He’s very explosive, having broad-jumped 10 feet 8, and he’s really sudden, having clocked a 3.94 in the shuttle and improved on his max velocity from last year, up to 23.5 MPH. Asked for what training result he’s most proud of, he says it’s his 5-10-5, given his height and weight, yet still can run a sub-4-second time."
According to this, nobody is running 23 MPH.

So if they like McCarthy and feel he should be picked in the 8-11 range, you can bet your bottom dollar they will look to trade back and pick him there. The financial savings alone is worth it for them.

I don't believe they will do that.
We are talking about a QB. Not a TE. QBs get over drafted all the time and will again this year. If you want one, relying on other teams to not move up for them is flat fucking stupid when you are #3.

So lately I keep hearing "character concerns" with Malik Nabers.
does anyone actually have anytjing remotely close to a red flag for this?
I think we've discussed his celebrations after a catch being perhaps a bit excessive but is there anything elae that I'm missing from my Google searches?
I'm being serious, it's okay if it's just speculation, I just want to understand what some are seeing. TIA.HAMMER TIME

But really who knows ?
The Chargers got what they needed from the visit.
Any diva tendencies would be worsened by lack of touches and expectations of blocking. We play modern Harball.

It's going to take a truly selfless WR to be okay with being a role player. My immediate thought is Roman Wilson, but something tells me he's ready and yearning to play in a spread offense to truly shine.
No divas on this ride.
Legget has a humble background and strong character.
Not to mention the physical traits to develop into a dominant run blocker.HAMMER TIME
