I can't decide if TT is a shit talent evaluator or our scouts suck, or both. It all falls on TT though. I hope when we fire scouts Telesco hires them..

I guess we'll see as Hortiz says he wants to bring in some guys he knows. Was hoping before this draft but haven't heard anything on that.

Why isnt anybody crawling up his ass like they are Q’s when he has played poorly for twice as long and was a higher Rd1 pick? We have never seen him play well, we all did see Pipkins play well in 2022. The majority of Herbert pressure was straight up the middle right past OGs. If we want to protect him, isn’t that the next thing to fix after OC?

I just don’t get why everyone ignores guard play and assumes it will be fine, but RT is a catastrophe if not upgraded. Nobody has offered a sensible argument. SMH.
Agree on guard issues...Zion has been a disappointment...but...it did seem he and Salyer played better when Lindsley was in there at C...After Clapp replaced him, and later Jaimes, it was all downhill...regarding Pip, all I know is I saw him give up a lot of pressures, though he's on the hook for only 2 sacks...another issue was moving Salyer to G, not his natural position...he did better at LT than G...so I say let Salyer compete with Pip for RT spot, draft a REAL guard, but also at some point draft a RT...or sign a FA RT...but number 1 priority is C, either by FA or draft...

Remember, Johnboy was one of our scouts for a while...remember? He scouted and recommended Easton Stick...

Good point...since Roman's ground game is key, we need a bell cow RB...I say trade down for extra picks, build up the O-line, get a solid C, solid RB fairly early and a solid DT fairly early also...

Looking back at the 2022 draft, it's shaping up to be one of TT's worst stinkers of all time. My quick takes:

Round 1 - Zion has been a disappointment. He played better with Lindsley in there, but u expect better pass pro from a first rounder than what we've gotten. Maybe Harbo/Roman can coach him up better.

Round 2 - Traded for Mack...the ONLY thing that saves this draft from being worse.

Round 3 - JT Woods - A reach with known tackling issues when drafted. He still has issues tackling, or he's out of position. Shows all the signs of being a bust. Let's see if Minter can repair the damage.

Round 4 - Spiller - The dude just hasn't shown all that much. At best, looks like a #3 in the RB room...a JAG pick...

Round 5 - Oggie - Hasn't played all that much due to injury...another JAG...

Round 6 - Salyer - A steal who played well at LT for the injured Slater...moving Salyer to G hasn't worked too well...I say let him compete with Pip at RT or he's backup T and G...we need to draft or sign a REAL OG...

            Round 6 - JaSir - Another JAG...

            Round 7 - Leonard - JAG

Round 7 - Horvath - Hardly even used the dude...waste of a draft pick

Let's hope Trader Joe can do better than this mess...

              01) Bears * QB Caleb Williams * financially driven s********, and the better QB over Justin
              02) Wash DC * QB Jayden Daniels * interesting storyline in that Daniels doesn’t like DC nor the Pats
              03) Atlanta * WR Marvin Harrison Jr. * if eye was NE, would just as soon draft Drake Maye
              04) Az * WR Rome Odunze * but if NE drafts Maye, then it’s harder to slot Odunze here
              05) LAC * RT Taliese Fuaga * don’t want SuperChargers football, want SB Chargers football
              06) Giants * WR Malik Nabors * def the least desirable mindset of the three wideouts
              07) Titans * LT Joe Alt * not the best run blocker, not the best pass blocker, but best on avg
              08) Pats * QB Drake Maye * in this mock they still get the guy they need
              09) Bears * OT Olumuyiwa Fashanu * don’t think you draft a pass catcher when this guy is on the board
              10) Jets * WR Brian Thomas * w/the 3 tackles off the board, Aaron gets another oversized wideout
              11) Minny * QB JJ McCarthy * does the hype drive him up the board, or does Minny get their just reward
              12) Denver * QB Bo Nix * apparently TT wants him if Sean don’t
              13) Vegas * QB Michael Penix * best lefty here since Stabler
              14) Saints * OT Troy Fautanu * w/all their musical chairs on the line, they need someone flexible here
              15) Colts * ED Dallas Turner * peoples got him coming off the board earlier, but they could use him here
              16) Seattle * QB Quinyon Mitchell * very impressive looking player
              17) Jags * CB Kool Aid McKinstry * gonna be curious as to who’s the better get between him & Arnold
              18) Cincy * TE Brock Bowers * gotta admit I had Latham here, but do think Burrows 2 Bowers could be good
              19) Rams * ED Laiatu Latu * ‘nother tough call given his medicals, and keeping him here for now
              20) Steelers * OT Amarius Mims * maybe they like Latham better, dunno
              21) Miami * OT Tyler Guyton * not overly impressed w/this guy this high, but need to hedge Armstead here
              22) Philly * ED Chop Robinson * seems like a Philly guy to me
              23) Texans * DT Byron Murphy * real good fit/value me thinx
              24) Dallas * ED Jared Verse * prolly goes off the board earlier than this
              25) Pack * DB Cooper DeJean * they could use an LT, but not sure there is one for the gettin’
              26) Bucs * CB Terrion Arnold * not alotta glaring wholes on this roster
              27) Az * CB Nate Wiggins * not a whole lotta sand in this guy’s pants
              28) Bills * OC Jackson Powers Johnson * does he deserve first round slotting
              29) Lions * DT Jer’Zhan Newton * is this a fit in this D
              30) Ravens * CB Ennis Rakestraw * seems like a fit, but don’t really know
              31) SF * WR Ladd McConkey * some better ways to go here, but seems like a Frisco pick
              32) KC * OT JC Latham * sorta got lost in the shuffle after I moved Brock up to Cincy
LB CJ Allen, LT Caleb Lomu, OC Parker Brailsford, RB Demond Claiborne, TE Justin Joly, NT Dontay Corleone, OC Bryce Foster, CB Josh Moten, LB Eric Gentry

If the Bears were smart they'd trade Fields for pick(s) and the #1 for picks to DC Caleb goes to his home town of DC back with his USC OC Klingsbury, then draft the #2 QB in their opinion and have a boatload of picks to surround him with.

That's a TON of trade-downs...fun for a draft machine, but not gonna happen...I'd be glad if Trader Joe trades down for a 2nd and a 4th...

*Made one trade, Bosa for pick 61... Probably could of traded Mack too and drafted a DE, OT or FS in the 3rd or 4th round.
