And the mock drafts seem to be reaching a consensus that the Bolts are getting Payne.

It would be really hard to pass on James if he somehow feel to us, but I still think we need to fix the middle of our dline or linebacker.

Sleeper
Tarvarius Moore, S, Southern Miss
The 6-1, 195-pound Moore caught my attention with a scintillating pro day that included a 4.32-second 40-yard dash, a 38.5-inch vertical leap and an 11-foot, 1-inch broad jump. When a player produces speed and explosive numbers like that, it requires an extra look at the game tape because those traits are going to be highly coveted by NFL teams. What I found on tape was a safety with good size, play speed that matched his timed speed as well as the smooth footwork and athleticism needed to handle his coverage duties. Moore has cover skills and he's a downhill run supporter. He has quality ball skills and instincts. Somehow, Moore wasn't invited to the NFL Scouting Combine and has flown well under the public's radar, but NFL teams are all very well aware of him. He's likely to come off the board on Day 2 (Rounds 2-3) of the draft. He has the potential to be a good NFL starter.

Given the soft Safty market I question the value of drafting one high in any draft. I'm less so but still hesitant to invest a top pick in an ILBr as good linebackers can always be found. I'd rather build the DT and rushing personnel before getting a LBr or a Safety in this draft. I think it's a better use of resources.Go Rivers!

Looking at the past few drafts very few OTs have gone in round one. The college game is not providing top tallent that translates to early success at the position. I would be disappointed it we draft an OT at 17.
Having said that teams need OT tallent as evidenced by all the trades this off-season. If a run starts before or after 17 it could help drop better players.Go Rivers!

I think all the top LBs all go Top 15, as that position is harder to replace than a interior DL. LVE has really shot up the draft boards and I see James and Vea long gone. Depending on how the team feels about Payne or Evans, I see that being their pick.
