I tend to agree...but completely understand why his value drops. I think our staff and anybody who watches the tape know how fast he plays. If this was an anamoly due to injury and poor track running technique, and Rapp really a 4.55 guy, then someone is gonna get a steal...hopefully us. On the otherhand, if his superb IQ and instincts have made him appear faster than he is, and he is really that slow...he should have a solid career in the box...but probably not on this team.
    Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

      Adderley. Thornhill. Thompson. Gardner-Johnson.

      All these prospects have issues.

Address other positions, mine other talent early.

Roll with Watkins-Jenkins and draft a mid round development Corner, maybe one with Safety traits.

That is what I am seeing on the big board.

Similarly. Desmond King. I have never been for moving him to Safety.

Surveying our DB population, I am looking for other fish to fry. DT. EDGE. OT. Weapon.

So overnight, Rapp has gone from someone I carefully selected for us @ 28 to Do Not Draft.

          LOL. I will keep looking.

Any prospect that falls to 28 is gonna have issues to coach up....if there is a run on dline and oline, those four guys might be best talent available...I wouldn't discount Safety in the first....just have to see how it plays out.

              Respectfully Sir, here's my counterpoint.

A very clean prospect could fall to us @ 28.

              eg Garrett Bradbury.

Non primary Position of Need, but a perfect successor to Pouncey.

              Convince me I'm wrong...

What do you see as Thornhill or Adderley's issues Wood? I have both as 1st round talents and Thornhill as an IMPACT near ELITE prospect.

Lol, I wouldn't say do not draft him. Some people are just hung up on 40 times.

Nope....don't disagree at all...but if that blue chip defender, or super clean and safe olineman isn't there, I still like the upside of some of those other safety prospects...wouldn't be disappointed if we selected one...
I will always keep an open mind about 28....hell, TJ Hockessin could slip thru...I'd be all over that....if he is BPA.

I've stated before I'm all about defense, personally....but rationally? I think it is a solid, safe, and clean oline pick that is most likely....a decent class overshadowed by a plethora of dline and edge talent...and qbs as always....very likely you are right about a good, "clean" oline prospect being there at 28...and we could use one of those.

I'm a Rapp guy, but I don't think you can take him at 28....now later? You bet...could be a steal. But I understand the concern at 28.
