Well, we do play zone most of the time but I think guys like Isiah Johnson and JoeJuan (that name cracks me ) are more the types Gus likes. Tall with longer arms. Though Joejuan surely won't match up with Tyreek since he isn't very fast. But, may not have to worry about Tyreek now lol.

I don't think Deebo is gonna be a late round pick.

Boyd is similar to Michael Davis and Brandon Facyson.
We do not play modern football.

Here is the info posted on his college injuries.....believe it or not. It's from NFL.com

So yeah I was wrong on the torn patella and he played thru some injuries but injured none the less.
Here is the posted link I found it from.
          http://www.thepowderblues.com/forum/...038#post242038

If you read the posts on that link, Ebenezer commenting is Kemp from the CBM and he was a big Verrett fan so he defends him a lot. But in the end, as we know, he was injured all the time.

This was posted by Engine 420 before the draft:

All quotes below are from NFL.com.
          Round 1
          Jason Verrett, Chargers CB
2010 - "Missing three contests with a hamstring injury."
2012 - "Had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee during '12 spring practice."
2012 - "Suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee against Texas but played in final two games before having surgery in January '13."
2013 - "Played most of the season with a torn labrum originally injured in the third game against Texas Tech and re-injured in November."
2014 - "Had the shoulder surgically repaired in March."
Rookie season - Played in 6 games
Not positive about the surgeries, but I can't find and have never been able to find anything at all on them and I'm pretty good at digging shit up. But the easiest way to discount this list is the fact that Verrett didn't even play in 2010, his freshman year was 2011. And Ebenezer was correct in his reply, Verrett only missed 1 game in his 3 year college career. That hardly points to an extensive injury history. I think that ol' 420 was hitting the pipe hard when he compiled this list.

If he had a torn meniscus then he had surgery. Those don't get better.

Pretty sure 2010 was from high school. Just like we know Drew Brees tore his ACL in high school.

Most players have injuries, it's just he was small so some were concerned he wouldn't hold up,......and he didn't. But hey, he played thru them when he could. But some you cant.

I was referring to our UNC WR Anthony Ratliff-Williams as a possible late pick.

Wood, noticed you have Tytus Howard in your mock in round 2. I've had him in mine, but in round 6. Looks like his stock is going up...

Yes. It is typical in the case of small school prospects.

Also, note that some sites are slow to update, in part to generate sales of their draft reports.

I expect Tytus to go a round earlier than Cajuste.

Wow, in that case, Tytus's stock is REALLY going up...

I have Cajuste going early in round 3-didn't mean to misstate that one. The two are pretty close. I see Tytus as capable of starting soon.

I like the prospect Tytus....maybe a bit of a reach in the second? But hey...we gotta save that third rounder for Saunders, don't we?:shifty: And I see Tytus gone by the fourth...

I noticed while researching him that the Panthers already had him in for a visit...small school stud garnering interest...
The TPB makes plans....And Jim Harbaugh laughs...

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

Dane Brugler has Tytus going early in round 3.
I like what I saw in Mobile.
Tytus is a perfect fit for us IMV.
There are no qualms here in taking Tytus @28.
Admittedly, Brugler, and many others have McGary ~ 60.
I like McGary, but prefer Tytus.

Once again, when I saw your mock, I was hyped.
There were several hits for me.
                          Moreau can block.
He gives us a great 1-2 combination at TE,
                          opening up our whole offense.
6'6" ...there will be mismatches all over the field.
