GIAGANTIC assumption that Lynn (and TT) really think Taylor is the answer at QB. I do not doubt that they like Taylor, but why were we going hard after Brady if Taylor is the guy? Why does everyone even faintly covering the team operate under the assumption that Taylor is nothing more than a bridge QB? If the team was really letting on that we weren't looking at upgrading, there would be a different stance on this. Why does TT not equivocally state that Taylor is the guy going forward instead of qualifying it with a "For now"?

Same with timing on the potential signing of Cam.

Exactly! Plus - well they are getting Hard Knocks with the Rams but thats a benefit
They would have got the opening game against KC on Thursday NIght Football (please do not do that too us NFL - please give that game to the Raiders or Texans). I would be okay with playing the Raiders on the late Monday night game in Vegas though - but if you want to give to the Broncos please do)

My first hope is Tua is there at 6 - probably not happening
Than I hope for Simmons - probably not happening
With Tua and Simmons gone - - my hope is a track back to the Jags at 9, get an extra 3rd and pick the best OT on the board - with that extra pick -- combined with 37 - if the right QB is there - trade back up to the end of the frist round for QB

I also like the trading with the Niners - IF Simmons and Tua are gone for 13 and 31 so having 13, 31 and 37

You mean as a trade back up into the first round type trade or trading back from 6? I think if trading 6 for their pick, Buffalo pick and a 4th rounder - thats pretty far to go back

I would be comfortable trading back from 37 into the first round though
