for me, I like Brown, Fromm in the third is pretty solid but WR is way too late. I think WR by the 4th round at the latest.

We get production from Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Austin Ekeler, and Hunter Henry.

We just signed Daniel Parnham, a Big Slot with some deep speed.

John Hightower is a speedy WR, a 4th round prospect, I project to us in round 6. He is a field stretcher who also works the sidelines well. Hightower is a good teammate per Boise State people. Also, we now need a ST Gunner.

Most of these players are going to cost us money next year. If HH doesn't get injured it will cost us to keep him and if Keenan Allen costs $$$ to keep him he could just be gone period. Mike Williams is ok but not the game changer we envisioned. In a year where we can replace a lot of receiver if need be with potential starters for years to come why blow money on receivers that are not game changers.

                M. Williams is not a game changer ?
                Able to make terrific catches
                20 yds/catch avg last year
                12 TDs last 2 years
I want that guy on my team

He's not a game changer. Making some nice down field jump ball catches in garbage time is not game changing. Has he helped us win a superbowl or even a playoff game? No. Is he Jerry Rice No? He's a nice receiver who can be replaced in the second round this year. If we exercise a fifth year option whats that gonna cost us? Are the Chargers going to pay Mike Williams something like $16 million for his fifth year? No. Are the Chargers going to pay KA $17 million a year after his contract expires? Probably not. We are better off only drafting a left tackle and then signing Guards and such on free agency and drafting at least 3 wr's in this years draft. At some point you need to see economics of overpaying for just good players not great players. He helped us go 5-11 last season as well as a team member. Big money requests require big time play in crunch time.

Did M. Williams got 1000 yards on garbage time last year ?

Probably half of those yards. We we're coming from behind so many Times. He's a good receiver who we have thru this year but what about next year? Keep KA or Mike Williams? Someones ones gonna be left out. IMHO....

What does that matter? Of the top 20 in receiving yards last year, only four were on a playoff team (Kelce, M. Thomas, Hopkins, Diggs)
Had Ekeler got 3 more yards for his 1000, you would be talking it up. Was some of that not in garbage time?
Don't matter how or why.... It's a milestone for MW and we were 3 yards short of having three with 1000.

At $6 million per year Eke is earning his money and chargers are getting value. Are you willing to pay Williams $16 million per year? Maybe mega dollars guaranteed. He hasn't lived up to the 7th pick in the draft.
