I've advocated for defensive line help in the first round the last two drafts. Shelton could be a force up the middle and provide protection for the linebackers -- the Chargers don't have a single linebacker who has proven they can make plays without protection up front. Top needs: DT, OL, WR

I don't see how he fits here, he's not a DE.

I'd be happy with a DE in the 1st, but don't know if there is value at DE where the Bolts look to pick, probably in the early 20's. I wouldn't be mad at Benardrick McKinney in the 1st either. The holes are everywhere on this squad.
