Great you just transformed us to the Jags for years they have struggled with solid D, solid running game but no QB. You dont trade a franchise QB if Rivers wants to go after 2015 franchise tag and let another team sign him if he choices not to sign with us, the other team that signs him needs to give us 2 first rounders. But the difference is we did not choice to trade him...

You definitely play this out. You don't trade him for an iffy QB prospect ..and that is what Mariotta is. I loved watching him in Oregon... Great QB in college in a great system. So far, spread Qbs have not faired very well in the pros. People are talking about Rivers PLUS picks.....JC that would be stupid. you can franchise him next year, Even non-exclusive and make the, cough up two first rounders. Play this season, franchise him for a year, then let him walk. By then he is 35 going on 36. There are better QB prospects next year anyway.

I really like Ajayi for our offense. Would love To be able to go non RB in first (Brown, Collins S Alabama, or OLB) in first and Ajayi in the second, but I don't think he would still be in the board when we pick. The LB out of Virginia would be nice in the second if we go Rb in the first. The best part is the way things look now, we should have a great s******** of Rb, WR, DL, or the top safety in Rd 1.

And what QBs project at the top of the 2nd round? (That's the other pick we'd get for Rivers from the Titans, i.e., their 2nd round pick).

Answer to my own question: Brett Hundley! Perfect! It's a short drive from Westwood to Carson.

i would think a guy like Brown would be on our radar.....one of several potentials along with IMo Gordon/Gurley/OLB/ and maybe even Collins the S from Alabama. Brown could really help our DE rotation. Again, lots of options and some good depth through the first three rounds. it will be an interesting draft for sure.
