Sounds like the Bills did not know about this when they drafted him. Now they are doing an investigation. Count me among those not understanding why there are no criminal charges. Pretty scary to get away with this if it is all true.

If you read further down in the suit details, it shows how SDPD worked with the plaintiff to gather further evidence with text messages, and it looks like it worked. Up until that point the case may not have been as strong, like a "he said, she said," or "it was consensual." With the text messages now, this is a lot more solid proof a D.A. looks for to go to trial.

I see. Sounds like they confirmed that they had sex. Next issue is consent and if she was drunk or drugged that issue is clouded. Since she was a minor it’s statutory rape in any case.

They knew weeks ago and still let their other punter go. Right now it’s damage control which I don’t understand for a position like punter.

we're just reacting to alleged gruesome details, but no one has condemned anyone or established that a crime outside of statutory rape has occured.

Did the players know this? Not defending this in any way, shape or form, but it may not always be obvious someone is in high school if they are partying with college students. Let's let the legal system go through the process, though the court of public opinion never waits for this.

Its tough even reading something like that. WTF. As a father of adults and teens its maddening to hear of the lack of brains that these idiots used and its probably not the only time it occurred. Alcohol…sure makes for stupid sometimes.

I have a close friend that’s a member of SDSU frat and he told me graphic stories of these parties. The way they treated women were very disturbing. Most of them were passed out.

Civil lawsuit is where you go with no solid evidence.
The accusation involves several crimes. Find physical evidence.
If it exists, prosecute him.
