Fred Jackson looks like a pretty decent pickup for the Seahawks.

Edit: Unrein was the one DL I noticed in the preseason who stood his ground. Must have been "backup team blindness".
    Prediction:
    Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

He probably deserves a Welcome thread...

Walton is a six-year veteran who has started all 52 games he’s appeared in, including 16 last season for the New York Giants. The 6-3, 305-pound Baylor product was initially a third round pick (80th overall) by the Denver Broncos in 2010, and started the first 36 games of his career for them before suffering an ankle injury that cost him the rest of 2012 and most of 2013. Walton also spent time with Washington before joining the Giants, although he didn’t appear in any games for the Redskins.

Welcome back Sorensen to the PS. They needed Byndom because of the shortage of CBs for practice.

What purpose does he serve? We have 3 good backs on the roster, we would be better served having another OL man or LB in his roster spot, Troutman when he is ready how confident you feel with him in there, he has shown no growth in his game going into year 3.

                      Gilbert that for thought!

Coaches don't care about the best 53 man roster ON PAPER, and there's always going to be healthy inactives based on who the next opponent is, personnel groups needed for game plan, position groups that are healthiest and more. You must of forgot how many lame street FA RBs Telesco and AJ before him had to scramble for in season when we had injuries, and the fact Brown knows the offense already along with being healthy puts his value way above another RB we may have to bring in later if they cut him and we have an injury again.

And the Cox comparison is looney- Cox was the #1 rated FA CB and was paid a premium salary to come in here as a starter and lock down 1 side of the field- and failed miserably despite his history. Brown was brought in to be a rotational guy spelling both Mathews and Woodhead- not REPLACING BOTH at the same time when they were out. It wasn't Brown's fault our OL went to shit and BOTH Mathews and Woodhead were removed as primary RB contributers, as he's not cut out to be an every down feature back that always makes positive yardage by himself on every touch behind an OL that can't block and open holes for anyone. That wasn't his role and you can't reasonably expect that from him. Some of you guys need to get out of his jock with unrealistic expectations simply based on salary and being inactive.

mama still says goin' nowhere Gilbert!

I guess even a teenage Fantasy Football geeks realize Donald Brown has absolutely no value. Hey SDfan now you know what Donald Brown and every other poster have in common on this site? We don't play for the Chargers!
