Meet the 2015 Chargers 53-Man Roster
The San Diego Chargers continued their flurry of transactions on Wednesday, promoting DT Damion Square to the active roster. In addition, the team signed four players to the practice squad including WR Isaiah Burse, LB Ben Gardner, S Matt Daniels and RB Dreamius Smith.
Square is a 6-2, 293-pound defensive tackle who initially joined the Bolts off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs last November. He remained on the active roster but was inactive for the final seven weeks of the season. A product of Alabama, he initially signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2013, appearing in 10 regular season games and one playoff contest totaling 11 tackles and one tackle for loss. Square appeared in four preseason games this year, recording three tackles.
The 5-10, 187-pound Burse appeared in 12 games for the Denver Broncos in 2014 primarily as a punt returner. He brought back 29 punts for 211 yards (7.3 yards per carry). A product of Fresno State, he appeared in 52 games with the Bulldogs, catching 210 passes for 2,503 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also had 126 kickoff returns for 2,835 yards and 29 punt returns for 344 yards. Burse most recently spent time on the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad.

Gardner is a 6-4, 270-pound outside linebacker who had eight tackles and one sack in four preseason games with the Dallas Cowboys. He was drafted by Dallas in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL draft out of Stanford after notching 19 tackles (seven solo), 7.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and one blocked punt in an injury-shortened senior season as a defensive end.
The 6-0, 212-poud Daniels began his NFL career in 2012 when he signed as an undrafted free agent out of Duke with the St. Louis Rams. He played in six games over two seasons, and most recently spent time on the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad.
Finally, Smith rejoins the Bolts after beginning the year on the team’s practice squad. He is a 5-11, 225-pound rusher out of West Virginia who led the team with 28 carries in the preseason for 74 yards and one touchdown along with three catches for 10 yards.Go Rivers!

Wow, Watt has been a trainwreck so far. Hope they are looking to get another OC either by the draft or a trade or something. Saints got a good OC with a trade but they had to give up Jimmy Graham....who cant block.
