They would but Brown makes NOBODY miss and when you have limited holes, you have to make them miss to get yardage. Brown isnt very ellusive at all, has no stiff arm and wont run over anybody and why even Philip Rivers has a better YPC ave.

I expect telesco to go after Orlando Franklin. Knows the system and McCoy. Cheaper than Iupati. Has positional flexibility. As for our own FAs; Dunlap and Flowers are the only two musts. Would like to see Gachkar and Ricardo back. Not expecting Wright to return. Also would get rid of either Malcom or Royal. The WR position is too repetitive. Needs more explosive player

get rid of Royal? are you nuts? If he'll agree to a reasonable contract I'm sure the Bolts will resign him. Why don't you expect Wright to return?

Because wright is replaceable. Rather spend the money on gilchrist. Flowers and Verrett the starters. Gilchrist in nickel. Williams dime. Davis can be developed as well.

As for Royal, I said get rid of Royal OR Floyd. They're both #3 type WRs. Don't need both, especially at their price tags. Save 3.5 million, and cut Floyd.

Because he isnt a solid starter and that's what he will want to be paid as. However, we know he likes being in So. Cal so how much that will figure, who knows. We can't overpay for his inconsistant play.

Yah I'd rather keep Royal and cut Floyd. Floyd has trouble getting any separation (why he's always making circus catches) and can be replaced by the cheaper Inman

Upgrade the trenches, the WRs didn't lose any games for us. Re-sign them both to reasonable contracts. And I think Wright/Gilchrist will be difficult to replace for the same money and get the same production.

So put the money into the lines first.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I agree with the first, but not the second. Games were lost because the WRs couldn't get open.

The one "good" thing about the game yesterday is that I don't think the team can try and get by with "good enough" on the oline like in the past couple of years. It was painfully obvious that we need more talent in the starters and better quality depth (though I'm not sure how any team can plan for 5 hurt players at any position).

If you don't think the WRs not getting open isn't helping to lose games then you are correct.
