I triple dipped on OL. 2 FAs caliber starters and 1 OT that is highly ranked on my board. That is 3 new projected starters on the Oline. That will put Lamp, Pipkins, Feeney, Tevi, Qberry, & TScott battling for 1 starting spot at LOG and depth positions since Pouncey will be back at center. This would put us in a strong position going forward with young talent, solid depth, and contracts that are manageable.

WR is a huge PON for us. KA13 is in the last year of his contract now. We do not have any quality depth behind Keenan & MikeDub. We currently lack speed. My 2 prospects drafted give us a massive increase in speed, depth, playmakers at the position, insurance against injury & future contracts issues, and a major boost to our ST UNIT.
    My 2021 Adopt-A-Bolt List

    MikeDub
    K9
    Nasir
    Tillery
    Parham
    Reed

Okay, gotcha. Good strategy, getting O line through BOTH the draft and FA...let's see if TT actually follows through on this...

Agree about WR. We need upgrads there. Dump Patton and G.Davis.

I’m positive TT/BOLTS have zero chance of doing what I would do.

I'm going to guess TT drafts ONE OT around round 2 or so, then coupon shops for a journeyman C-G, some dude who's over 30, might have one decent season left, but inks him to a 4-year deal, then crows about what a great signing this is...all the while ignoring we still need ANOTHER OT, in case of injury or retirement...sigh...

If the Bolts could lure Joe Haeg away from the Colts, that would be a solid signing:

Latest “I’m the GM” offseason and draft plan......
(Yes, I am aware that the FO will never do this)

Our QB situation is a complete unknown so I am calculating going QB in 2021 unless Easton pulls a TB12. More on this later.
Also the health of both Pouncey and Okung being an unknown and will be “hopes” at best. Pouncey was inconsistent before a serious neck injury but if he is cleared, he will be retained. I’m cutting Okung for the cap savings because of health & future availability concerns.
I’m also going to assume we get a 4th round comp pick in 2020.

                        Retain with new contracts.....

Hunter Henry for 4 years @ $38.5 million.
Adrian Phillips for 2 years @ $4.5 million
Derek Watt for 2 years @ $4.25 million.
                        Retain all RFA/ERFA.

                        Extend.....

Joey Bosa for 6 years @ $137.5 million.
                        SupaMel for 4 years @ $62.5 million.

                        Player Cuts....

                        Russell Okung ($13 million)
                        Thomas Davis Sr. ($5.25 million)
                        Brandon Mebane ($4.25 million)
A net Cap savings of $22.5 million added to our current available Cap space of $51.75 million.
Total available Cap Space = $74.25 million.

Other possible cuts, contract renegotiation, and potential Cap savings....
                        Ideally most/all can return/make 53.

                        Denzel Perryman ($6.5 million)
                        Tyrod Taylor ($5 million)
                        Mike Pouncey ($4.75 million)
                        Virgil Green ($2.7 million)
Additional Potential Cap Space = $18.9 million.

                        Free Agent market.

Sign OT Jack Conklin. 5 years @ $77.5 million.
Sign NT Michael Pierce 4 years @ $18.5 million.
Sign LB Neville Hewitt 3 years @ $8.5 million.
Sign QB TB12 for 2 years @ $55 million. ( ES the heir apparent? )

                        2020 NFL PLAYER DRAFT........
                        TRADE - IND Colts trade #13 (1ST), #44 (2ND), #112 (4TH), & 2021 (2ND) round pick for LAC #6 to draft Justin
                        Herbert.

                        BOLTS DRAFT FALLS THIS WAY......

                        1) MEKHI BECTON (OT) UL - 6’ 7” - 345#
                        - Massive human with incredibly nimble feet. Mekhi has a quality kick step that covers ground, HUGE wingspan & length, INSANE POWER in both lower & upper body, hand strikes produce major impact/can completely change a defender’s path/balance, vice like power in his grip strength, NASTY FINISHER, down & drive blocking uproot defenders, good mover to the 2nd level/hook blocks/reach blocks, adequate pulling ability. Improvement areas include stunt reco/passoff, field orientation in space on some screens, inside spin counters. Mekhi has improved each year at UL with major improvements in technique, weight, flexibility, balance, and footwork. His obtainable ceiling is All-Pro with continued technique improvement and body fat reduction.

                        2A) COLE KMET (TE) ND - 6’ 6” - 250#
                        - terrific athlete, big, fast, strong hands that naturally receive the ball, excellent COD & lateral agility, good route stems, solid hand use and body position when pressed at LOS, RAC ability, red zone weapon, willing but inconsistent blocker. Improvements needed with blocking fundamentals (wide base/hands inside/footwork), core strength, complete route tree, identifying coverages.

                        2B) DARRELL TAYLOR (OTTO/LEO) UTN - 6’ 4” - 258#
                        - EXPLOSIVE first 2 steps off edge, great length, flexibility to bend & flat turn arc, possesses multiple counters - dual spin/pp/rip swim/hesitation-slap-rip, good grip strength/body control/leverage to set edge, natural easy mover in space, good feel in zone coverage, limited M2M snaps. Improvements needed in strength/power, hand strike power, finish more sack opportunities, disengagement skills.

                        3) GABE DAVIS (WR) UCF - 6’ 3” - 212#
                        - tall, fast, sudden off line, excellent feet & handwork @ LOS, finishes vertically, uses length with strong hands at catch point, tremendous body control, hard worker on/off field, hips flow in/out breaks. Improvements needed in core strength, route tree development, and understanding where windows in zone coverages exist.

                        4A) STANFORD SAMUELS III (CB) FSU - 6’ 2” - 190#
                        - rangy athletic BALLHAWK with length, speed, great feet, short memory, and unyielding confidence. Highly productive ballhawk with 8 INTs in his 3 years. His agility, COD skills, mirroring ability, patient/calm hands during route, zone vision, closing burst, disruptive press techniques, and flexibility in hips give him all the physical tools. SS3 really needs to commit to strength training, run support leverage, and tackling fundamentals.

                        4B) CESAR RUIZ (OC) UM - 6’ 4” - 319#
                        - athletic powerful big man with excellent feet and plays with the nasty. Cesar has great movement skills, lateral agility, and grip strength for the pivot. His capabilities to pull, scoop, fold, drive, and anchor are special. Where Ruiz will need to continue to improve are hand strike placement, consistent pad level/leverage, and reset of anchor following counters. When Cesar is focused on his technique, he has the skillset to be an elite OC.

                        4C) KE’SHAWN VAUGHN (RB) VU - 5’ 10” - 218#
                        - excellent vision, sudden burst, Elite contact balance, tackle breaking machine, 1 defender rarely brings him down, tough, mentally driven to succeed, strong leg drive, COMPLETE BALL SECURITY, speed to get corner & EZ, good hands and route execution, impressive agility with jump cuts & 90 degree cuts, needs to be more patient (comes from lousy inconsistent blocking), quality passpro skillset and willingness. Needs to improve identifying blitz scheme quicker, develop patience/hesitation step, and pass game understanding. Love this kid!

                        5) JEREMY CHINN (S/LB) SIU - 6’ 3” - 219#
                        - WOW this dude just dominates in each tape I put on. Competition level is inconsistent but I’m impressed.
big, dense built muscle mass, FAST w/killer closing burst, huge motor, tremendous athlete, UNCANNY NATURAL FOOTBALL INSTINCTS, great fundamentally sound tackler, outstanding in M2M and zone coverage concepts, fills run lanes with authority, and is a serious BALLHAWK! Jeremy was going to be a sleeper I held back but damn Senior Bowl. He maybe a real riser.

                        6) JOSIAH COATNEY (DT) OLE MISS - 6’ 4” - 315#
                        - stout, agile, powerful, aggressive big man with some interior rush capabilities who played anywhere from 0-5 tech. Plays with outstanding leverage and possess quality length to disengage and make stops. Non stop motor, relentless, strong handstrikes, insane grip strength, plays with a nasty mentality, average burst/get-off but can reset LOS with power & leverage, effective stalematting double teams. Can let eyes betray block scheme diagnoses, doesn’t feel screens early, needs to improve working 1/2 man in 1on1s.

                        7) JOE REED (WR) UVA - 6’ 1” - 215#
                        - big time speed and acceleration, can eliminate angles, excellent strength/power/COD, produced HUGE plays in RETURN GAME throughout career, improved as a receiver over the last 3 seasons. Shows strong hands, concentration through catch point, gets vertical after catch, good blocker, elite body control/field vision/acceleration. Provides RAC all day, flexibility in run game, ST big play ability, and vertical threat. Development needing in route tree/stems and timing.

                        2020 ROSTER VISION.....

                        QB = TB12, Taylor, Stick

                        * 4th OT should be converted to (OG/OT) and given a chance to earn starting OG spot. Tevi or TScott could make quality OGs. Lots of position versatility depth.

                        COORDINATORS

Offensively SS must be creative, opportunistic, deceptive, have an unwavering COMMITMENT to the running game, use multiple screen designs, use PA and change of pocket location, improve GOLD ZONE TD/Scoring efficiency, and have the QB under center at least 40%-50%+ of snaps.

Defensively GusD must be more aggressive, sound fundamentally, use multi blitz/coverage concepts, isolate our elite pass rushers, produce TURNOVERS and 3rd down STOPS. With the personnel assembled above this should not be an issue.

Your right, no way they would do that. Telesco isn't going to sign that many costly FAs and I'm not sure we can afford them all, but id like to see a couple FAs signed anyways.

And no way in hell id sign Ingram for 4 years let alone for that much money. He isn't worth resigning in my book. I'd be trading him, not resigning.
I hate to even see people call him supermel. He is more like underdog for his underachieving.
