Looks like the Bolts are starting out in true Charger form - three-fifths of the staring OL out or questionable, as is the best blocking TE and #2 WR.

I'm a bit confused why Feeney is replacing Pouncey and not Q. Didn't Q play admirably at C when Pouncey got hurt last season? Is Feeney in the long-term plan at center then?

It would be great if Guyton had a breakout year. That would make a great WR corps, because the two rooks are going to make their marks too.

I look at Guyton this way, he is filling the speed role of Travis Benjamin. He cannot be worse that what Benjamin provided during his Chargers tenure and he is a whole lot bigger. His measurables are off the charts ...size,weight, speed, quickness, he has it all.

Joe Reed can do the fly sweeps and other gadgety plays they fed Benjamin when he wasn’t injured. And Reed won’t got down with a hard slap like Benjamin did.

Sorry, really disappointed in TB. He was starting to develop in Cleveland as a WR and was an awesome punt returner. Then he came here and turned into a hot mess.

Feeney was OC2 last year as well.
Dan filled in for Pouncey until Lamp got injured. He then moved back to OLG and then Qberry became OC.

I look at him as filling the hole created when Tyrell Williams left. Benjamin was supposed to be that guy last season, but he never became a productive WR for the Bolts. Tyrell had 1,400 receiving yards and scored 9 TDs in the winning seasons of 2017 and 2018. Benjamin didn't replace that (he was hurt most of last year). Reed has that potential, but he is a rookie and has to learn to run routes in the NFL. Guyton is experienced and has the speed to leave a secondary in the dust, which Tyrell did on a number of big plays in 2017-18, and which is not KA or MW's game.

It helps that Atkins is out for Cincy.

Looks like OL may be LT Tevi, LG Lamp, C Feeney, RG Quis, RT Norton. Not exactly what we wanted but should not come as a shock. This is the Chargers.
Cincy has some good players but weren't much as team D last year. Now Adkins is out.
Good time to jump in, check the depth.

The defense better shut down Cincy's offense, because that Oline won't create many opportunities.

I doubt the OL will be a powerhouse. May be enough though if D, STs play well.
Mostly uninformed guess LAC 17 - Cin 13.

If this is the offensive line for Sunday do you think they're just telling Tyrod to run to the least difficult side and make a quick read or throw it out of bounds. Better to let the defense score 10 points in this game and hope for some short fields. LOL!
