Rivers was under a lot of pressure the whole game. During the 4th quaryer, the announcers said 50% of his dropbacks he was under pressure at one point with 18 dropbacks , there were 15 hurries a sack and he been hit 5 times.

However, those 2 INTs were his fault. Bad decisions. The intentional grounding he was under pressure again and threw where no WR was.

Perhaps the WR ran the wrong route or not, don't know. He ran a post instead of a corner route.

In any case, I have to say the Browns may be for real this year.

One thing to note ,the Colts RT left the game early.
I don't see this team (Colts) going to the Super bowl unless they get a lot better than they are. Brownies are starting to gel after a decade of high draft picks.

      Kevin Stefanski--Browns.
      Kliff Kingsbury--Cardinals.
      Matt Rhule--Panthers.

      All winners today.
      Young HC's.
      Dynamic, good scoring offenses.

      Browns: Austin Hooper, OBJ.
      Cardinals: DHop.
      Panthers: Robbie Anderson.
      Key additions.

      We need to score.
So Herbert can start getting W's.
      MWilliams. (downfield chunk plays)
      JGuyton/TJohnson (speed)

      Bring it Steichen.
      Adapt Anthony.
      Belichick adapts.

This is also how the Oline performance seems to improve.
      The Herbert saga continues.

His playmakers are sub par; but that's the trade off - you can't have gold all around you.

Time to prove you are a no brainer HOFer.
Rivers was pressured 15 of the first 18 times he dropped back to pass the ball. With Castonzo injured and out, the Colts' OL was not intact for the first time in 22 games. Le'Raven Clark, the substitute LT, was getting torched by Myles Garrett on play after play.

The defense was not good today except for a short stretch in the second half where they recorded one sack and two INTs. They gave up 20 first half points and allowed the Browns to score on every possession they had during that time.

After the team had battled back and had the game within 6 points, all the defense needed was to get off the field and instead, they allowed the Browns to make multiple first downs, take most of the time off of the clock and get into game icing FG position.

And yes, due to inuries, his playmakers are very subpar--no Mack, no Pittman, no Campbell, which represent his 3 best weapons as Hilton looks like he has lost a step or two.

Rivers is not being put in a good position with the play calling that has taken place so far this season. It reminds me of why we did not choose to bring Reich back as Whiz was always better than Reich when it came to calling plays.

They were missing their LT today and Garrett is a leading DPOY candidate, so that was a terrible time for him to be missing. And it really showed.

Also, Rivers is missing several key offensive weapons. Throw in bad play calling and the offense is not dynamic enough right now to carry the team for a deep playoff run.

Finally, their defense is somewhat overrated. They are opportunistic in terms of creating turnovers, but they also have a tendency to play soft zone coverage at times, which hurt them against Jacksonville and again today.

Rivers has a bad game. He handed the Browns 9 points. And the colts got a KO return Td so he didn’t produce much.

Quenton Nelson got a rare holding penalty today.

This was with no Larry Ogunjobi.

                Let's not cherrypick facts TPB.

You’re calling Pittman, the rookie from SC, one of his best weapons? Rivers had a poor game.

Like I have been saying, Rivers is OK playing from ahead. But as soon he's in a situation where he's playing from behind and has to mount a comeback, like today, he's going to melt down, like he did today. He was not always this bad playing from behind, but at this point in his career he is not capable of leading comebacks like we saw him do v. Pitt and KC two years ago. I think we saw the decline last season, and that is why he's no longer a Chargers. I think this is Rivers' final season.

Rivers did not throw an INT at the end of the game, so his bad pick-6 pass, which I did acknowledge as a bad pass in other posts in this thread, was not a part of Rivers leading a late comeback, which was the point I was addressing in discussing what got in the way of that comeback.
