No way. That pass was about a foot too far.

The first two point try was in the 4th quarter.

Yes that's right, it was 24-16 then and then they got it at the 1 on a penalty.

Perfect place to go for it IMO.

Those two QBs didn’t play a single playoff game in NE combined. I’m not saying BB is not a very good coach, i think he is. But I’m watching the first playoffs since Bill and Tom broke up and only one of them is there. He’s currently winning, up as I type, on a team that hasn’t been in the playoffs since 2007. The other one is sitting home.

ok, he’s up by 6 now, pending PAT . Things change fast in the NFL lol

So the Chargers are interviewing both Daboll and Staley on Sunday, apparently (and so are the Jets):

Mike McCoy impressed at his interview so much that the ownership told the other candidates to CANCEL their interviews. Wow. Talk is cheap. Look at M. Lewis's record in playoffs 0-7. Numbers don't lie...people do, but NOT numbers. Facts jack.

                  Daboll has the varied experience
the years as an OC (he has more combined years at the NFL level than Staley, Smith and Brady combined)
He has worked with a lot of QBs - good, bad in between

Hopefully he hits a grand slam today

He has all that you want except for HC experience. You can't have HC experience until you're a HC. However, he has certainly studied under some great HCs. Hopefully, he is the guy & comes in & flips the culture. The Spanii don't deserve it, but we as fans certainly do.

Hopefully. No more NFL coordinators that only had a couple of good years. Like JH always say “experience is the best teacher”.

After the Bills or Pats loss when the Fire Lynn thing started - I was more wanting a HC with experience. And this was solely based on the fact that (Coryell+Marty+Ross+even Norv) >>> (Saunders + Gilbride + McCoy + Lynn) - meaning first time HC from the OC world haven't fared well

Now there are a lot of one time hired /fired guys out there, Allen, Lews, Pagano, Josh Mc D, a couple two timers, Del Rio, and Caldwell and Jason Garrett belongs in the first group

But Daboll with his experience not only as an OC - but he has been at the bottom with the Browns, Dolphins and Chiefs as well as the top with NE, Alabama and now Buffalo - has a different type of experience

Too many of the "hot coordinators" - and McCoy was a good example - only were successful and its not because he was a genius. He had Payton Manning and a helluva damn good roster in Denver that won him games. Like ARthur Smtih these two years has had a Derrick Henry lead offense. Now yes, his work with Tannehill is good but it hinges on Henry. Heatmiser showed the list of QBs Daboll has worked with - it runs the gamut

Miser compared Daboll to Arians and I thought a good comp. Many years, highs, lows, but more than anything, worked with a lot of QBs, Coaches and teams so has that level of experience that quite frankly Brady, Smith or Staley just cannot have to date. I have nothing against those three guys, and you can even add Eberflus and Saleh to a degree - I just know what has worked for the Chargers and what hasn't historically.

And for the Chargers, this is for the Chargers only, experience means a helluva lot!!!

Just a minor correction on Garrett. He’s only been HC one time and that was with the Boys. Took over for fired Wade halfway through 2010 and got let go after 2019.

Don’t want him as HC because he’s super average from what others have said.
