True! I was watching a little more closely at the Bills spread offense and kind of envisioning us running the same. Would be a sight to see and get out of the run/run/pass offense we have.

All things equal for the current open jobs and will include the Chargers just for the argument, i wonder where Daboll would rank the opening:

1) Houston: Good QB in Deshaun; I am sure he could get creative but lack of draft picks, and projected today to be under the cap - not so sure; division is consistent

2) Jaguars;: probably will draft Lawrence, have some decent pieces on defense, plenty of cap space and draft picks. Good opening

3) Falcons: Older QB, tight against the cap, this might not be that attractive - the division will have an aging Brees and Brady so those two things might be positives longer term

4) Lions: Again, older QB, some cap issues, but again, have to figure out QB

5) Jets: putting this one down because Gase will be gone ; either Darnold or a rookie at QB, same division as Bills and Pats - he might want to leave

6) Chargers; good young QB, plenty of draft picks and caps, key players like Bosa, Allen, Ekeler signed; Derwin too. Need to fix the OL and ST for sure. Also need to work for the Spanii and have to play the Chiefs and Mahomes.

I think overall the Chargers have a compelling case as a solid opening for a head coach

Daboll at this point is a one year wonder. The rest of his resume is bottom of barrel finish as an OC.
But in his defense this is the most talent he has had to work with.

He better bring Ken Dorsey with him.
