Rushing yards always have a Lynn factor applied. We see a 2.5 yard rush, Lynn see a guy running half the length of the field and says, that was great, let’s do it again.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Dean would be like "yes, but we didn't have OUR whole team - three year extension!"

Seriously - this game should not be a deciding factor in Lynns fate. They should know today what they plan on doing. Granted, if they lose to the Chief back-ups and are blown out - that won't help.
Then they can remind Dean that JohnBoy who has final say, his picks he approved for Telesco didn't play well when called on.

Well, we know what those other players are, so young guys getting experience is a good thing..... even though it would be fun to see offense go all out trying to rack up 50+ points, we also know, that against any aggressive blitzing defense, Lynn will turtle up the offense like he has done lately so scoring for both teams sadly might be in the teens...... lol ,,,,,, but Lynn believes that close wins or losses help him keep his job.....

That would a hell of a feat since they don't play in the first round.

If that's really the case then he should get a 10 year extension is his own humble opinion. His two year record alone is impeccable.

Facyson should be playing. He's someone who I'd target all day..

This really does look like a pre-season lineup. Still will cheer for a win and records for Justin Herbert, but obviously there are potential side benefits from losing this game as well.

Play Stick to see if he has anything. It’s crazy to start Herbert, he’s got Offensive Rookie of the year wrapped up. Run every RB but Ekeler. Yes, play this game like it’s a last preseason game.

Now that we have a pretty good idea of who is not playing for both teams, it's safe to make a prediction. I'm going with 24-19 Chargers. The Chargers have more first-teamers playing, and they have the QB advantage. Mike Williams and Austin Ekeler will be playing as will most of the starting OL. The Chiefs have trouble stopping the run with their first team. The RBs should have some holes to exploit. Herbert will still have some decent receiving threats on the field with him. I think the Chargers improve to 7-9, saving the Spamnoses the hassle of a coaching search, completing a 2nd half division sweep, and sliding from 12 to 16 in the 2021 draft.
