You are definitely wrong on both counts. Lynn's play calling/game plans were horrible. And he did not make up for it with his terrible game management.

Daboll called a great game today. His players had a bad game, Allen in particular.

It wasn't just one bad game. They only had 1 good TD drive in the previous game vs Ravens. The 17pts was with a pick 6.
And the 24pts today was with a gifted 1 yd line early in game. They struggled for 2 games to find the endzone. And even in game vs Colts they still were short of season scoring avg.

I thought Daboll would use the run game more on windy day vs Ravens. The only TD drive in that game, they mixed it in more.

And today, because Bill's receivers weren't winning often and getting separation vs KC. I thought they would try more run game, to get some play action going. And to keep Mahomes off field. And also thought since Cheifs were covering good and getting pressure they might do more screens to RB and stacked WR sets to create some natural separation. But they didn't. Seem like he put it all on Allen to win it with his arm and legs.
48 passes by Allen. and 7 rushes which lead the team..

The Bills only had 9 carries by RB vs Ravens and then again only 9 carries by RBs vs Cheifs.
Daboll sucks. He did not help Josh Allen today or last week. He put way too much on him and it didn't work.

I'm glad he is nowhere near Herbert-QB. It might work in regular season and light up bad teams. But in playoffs there are no bad teams. One dimensional play calling will get beat.

BUF's RBs ran 9 times for 32 yards. Again, their ground game was terrible, which is why they knew they could not waste too many downs with it. Running more would have meant more three and outs and stalled drives (see Anthony Lynn/Shane Steichen and the Los Angeles Chargers) and KC on the field more, not less.

Their QB was an MVP candidate this season, but he severely underperformed in his last two games. It is stupid to blame Daboll for that or the shortcomings of the WRs.

At the end of the day, BUF had one approach (the passing game) that might have won the game for them, but did not end up working and another approach that was never going to work and that they knew was never going to work.

If they were going to go down, it needed to be with the ball in the hands of the player that led them all season long, not by running a 5th string RB like Kalen Ballage 17 times (see Anthony Lynn's stupid game plan in Chargers versus Dolphins in 2020).

We need to poach the Chiefs strength and conditioning coaches. It’s incredible how they maintain such great health for their players throughout the course of the season the last 2 years.

Mahomes, Hill, Kelce, their O line are always completely healthy come playoff time after a 16 game season time and time again.

I wish we had half their injury luck.
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

        - 69-74 record
        - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
        - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
        - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
        - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
        - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
        - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

Daboll has called two terrible games in a row.
They struggled to find endzone last week and this week. They limited the playbook by being so one dimensional. They made finding easy chuck plays very hard by being so one dimensional. He basically put the entire game on Allen to win it with arm and legs. And didn't have many natural rub routes or any well timed.screen to RBs. And because he abandoned the run game, there was no ability to get any good play action bootlegs going for Allen to make plays. He might as well threw half the play book in the trash. Cheifs do not have a good defense. But they looked very good today because of the awful game plan and play calling.

He was hyped by some media and some fans. But it didn't seem like teams with opening at HC spot were lining up to interview him. Wasnt it just the Jets and Chargers that took a sniff and went another direction. I don't recall hearing his name anywhere else.

Why would you want an OC who is so one dimensional? He got exposed.

breath a sigh of relief that at least the chargers didn’t buy into the media hype around Daboll.

There’s now Bills fans calling for Daboll to be fired.

Lmao imagine if he ends up being our OC because the Bills can his ass.

but ya it’s not looking as slamdunk as it did way back, 2 weeks ago
Spags did a good job at confusing Allen

Haha would be ironic but I don’t think mcdermott feels confident he can find an upgrade this offseason
