This staff may be kinda awesome if Staley gets everyone pulling for the W's under his leadership.

You're right. I overstated / assumed too much. Rodgers is more familiar with OLB edge rushers.
Chi played the 3-4, Smith has been coaching Bradley's 4 DL.
I'm inclined to think Jay will be collaborating with Smith & Wilhoite on edge rush.

Fine by me. Chargers need a teacher - a teacher of football. I guess thats why I miss Marty so much. His teams got better - as he taught them football more. I hope this staff can do the same thing

Aside from the fact of clock management, game management, etc - at the core - part of the coaching staffs job is to teach the players to play better football or find players who will.

I just watched the Chargers.com Coach S conference: Explained something like if you start off a 3-4, it morphs into 5 DBS because the offense usually rolls out 3 WR sets. Then the outside people on the 3-4 actually become DE's. So cool. Right up Rodger's ally. Eh, he knows Fangios system right!? There you go my Bolt bro!
