If Ingram isn’t returning to us on a bargain deal then I hope he goes to the NFC instead. Or at least outside the division.

Edit: maybe we should get Sherrick McManis then since he’s 2nd overall since 2018 lol.

Low dollar, high incentive - maybe post draft
And again, Bosa is the the Edge rusher in this scheme. He is the Khalil Mack role. So who knows
Also, looks like Malik Hooker is signing in Dallas. Wonder if that means Xavier Woods will be on the market. Ricardo Allen signed with the Bengals. Maybe Staley is rolling with Naz Adderley but Woods could be an option at FS.

I say it is a tell about the uncertainty of Bulaga's back.
BTW didn't Sam have the sniffles a while ago ?
Something about the Chargers wanting to go in another direction.
 :shock:We do not play modern football.

I decided to look at the Rams 2020 roster of CB and S to see if we can see a pattern of how Staley may see the DB position. I found some interesting information. Here is the rams 2020 DB list:
Jalen Ramsey, 1st Rnd pick-Jacksonville
John Johnson (S) 3rd rnd pick, 4 yrs Exp
Troy Hill, Undrafted Free Agent (UFA), waived by two teams
Taylor Rapp (S), 2nd rnd pick 2019
Darious Williams, UFA, 3yrs exp
Levonta Taylor, UFA, Rookie(R), waived
Nick Scott (S). 7th rnd 2019
JR Reed (S), UFA Jacksonville
David Long, 3rd rnd 2019
JuJu Hughes (S), UFA 2020
Jordan Fuller, 6th rnd 2020
Tyrique Mcghee, UFA 2020
Jake Gervase, UFA, 2019
Donte' Deayon, UFA 2016
The Rams have a few quality pieces, otherwise they do not value high picks for the secondary. The Rams find many DBs through UFA and mid to late round picks. In fact, a lot of the players they are looking to keep and promote are UFA players. Given this list, lets look at what may happen during our draft. Staley has his joystick in Derwin (like the Rams Ramsey), Staley has his one corner in Davis to have on one side if Derwin is in another match-up. This gives Staley his foundation of the secondary. There is a real chance we are not going to use high picks for DBs. We may use later round picks and UFAs to fill this gap, and then coach them to the system. This means we may go in other directions with the 2-4th round picks.
