So maybe I’m an idiot, but I was kind of hoping we actually get three days of comments on rookie minicamp from our beat writers. Wonder what happened?
It is odd, isn't it? I was wondering the same thing. And no more video pressers from Staley or the coordinators on Chargers.com. I think they missed a chance to continue to build the excitement. Is it just me or do you guys also look forward to everything Staley says? It's almost magical lilke.

I’m not surprised. I think Friday was mostly getting to know the facility, light stretching, and players getting their equipment. Unless you want to hear about how fluidly Slater jogged, how quickly Webb found the bathroom or how big Samuel Jr’s head was compared to his body :blahblah:
I have a degree in mechanical engineering and I had to google it. I'm old though so I already forgot what it means. See Spot run, Dick and Jane, I start there anymore. Help me, please use common words so as to not strain my brain. Thank you in advance.
I kind of like seeing an occasional atypical adjective which serves to instigate the dilatation of our imagination, foment erudition, and foster a quantum paradigm shift in our collective consciousness...

I did the math. If the Chargers cut Chase Daniel and replace him with a 21 year old then they would be the youngest team in the league. But I’m not advocating that.
In recent years at the Cowboys forum we sometimes were close to the youngest team. And it became a mind worm in my head. How to get younger still?
I devoted silly head space considering the "purging" of Dallas' 40-year old deep snapper.

Since Jason from OTC did a review of teams , showing snaps played by age - its a metric that I look at. There can be outlier teams, maybe Tampa this year but for the most part - especially certain positions, younger is better.
So to me, the Chargers did get older if you will with players like Cook and Daniels but other areas got younger.
But Square was replaced by younger, Linsley younger than Pouncey, Hayward replaced by Samuel. So overall, the Chargers I think got younger at key positions. If your back up QB is older, thats not a big deal. The Chargers did not have a Cardinals offseason.
