CHJ: outside, nickel ("Star"), dime backer ("Money").
DERWIN: Strong, Star, Money.
BOTH: "Positionless" just "DBs".
Both Linsley and Cook observe that Herbert is a very fast learner.
Run offense will be Kyle Shanahan SF style,
with a lot of outside zone blocking.
Expect one cut chunk plays from EK, JJ, Kelley, Roundtree III.

When I read comments like the one we're referring to, I always try to discern whether it was information the player came up with voluntarily, or if it came in response to a direct question.Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post

It's another thing if a reporter says, "We all know that Justin Herbert is super smart. Do you see that intelligence translating to his play on the field?" Because THEN the player has TWO choices: Insult his teammate, or talk about how very super-duper smart he is.
It's thoughtless journalism that yields meaningless responses.Comment
