Bandy get cut again, or is that from the first time he was cut?

Haven’t seen anything today about him so assume it’s the initial cut.

How does a guy with that kinda speed go undrafted? It’s not like he played bad at Purdue. He set a school record as a freshman, averaging 33 yards/kick return.

Chargers waive 11 players ahead of NFL roster cuts

The trimming has begun. The Los Angeles Chargers officially waived the following nine players on Monday afternoon:
DB Donte Vaughn
EDGE Davin Bellamy
TE Matt Sokol
LB Nate Evans
OT Darius Harper
WR John Hurst
EDGE Jessie Lemonier
CB KJ Sails
DL Willie Yarbary
In addition, LS Cole Mazza and OL Tyree St. Louis were waived/injured, which means they will be placed on waivers before being placed on the injured reserve.

None of these 11 cuts are surprising. With Mazza let go of, that means that veteran Matt Overton will be the team’s long snapper to begin the regular season.

53 on the roster plus 16 on the PS equals 69. Can we assume that's pretty much what the Chargers have planned? Of this first group, only Lemonier might have been a practice squad candidate.

Had several mental errors/penalties that cost him. IMO.

The Chargers -- per OTC - should be getting four comp picks next spring, two in the 6th, two in the 5th. Granted with Tevi going on IR - not sure but lets say one of the 6ths goes, that still leaves 5 picks over those two rounds. A guy like Grant for a 6th that becomes a 5th is a no brainer

I would also say that about OL depth or just taking Marcus Cannon

Players getting hurt don't effect comp picks. He is still getting paid for being injured.

It's the contract that determines the vast majority of comp picks.

I have a 4.38.....at his pro day. Still good time but pro days usually are faster than combine.

That and sucking in general. The only play of significance that I saw from him was the sack when he was not blocked at all.

Pipkins should be cut immediately and replaced by this guy. Already has chemistry with Herbert as well. He’s a lil banged up but even then he’s still probably 5x as good as Pipkins.

Cut Norton too if there’s someone better comes available.

I am going to say its not going to happen
Telesco would have to admit he screwed up
And I mean by that he went through the offseason, saw his roster and will have to be honest with himself that they need better players and depth at key positions

He can't be worse. Pip or Storm probably can make the PS

I say sign two guys for the OL - one like this guy and another veteran (Wagner, Warford, the guy who was with the Patriots, long name -- can't be worse)
