I would be good with Thuney but I still think its about two players on the OL and not just one. Granted, they could go with Thuney and a cheaper option at Center like Blythe instead of say Linsley and (pick your OG option).

There are going to be players who take a one year deal so they don't get sucked into a team friendly deal for multiple years - hoping the cap goes up. Works for the player - they can prove themselves. Works for the team as they are getting a motivated player.

Just have to see who is out there come March 15

Very interesting point with the potential one year contracts for many players in hope that the salary cap goes back up to normal the following year. It makes sense to me. It also seems to me that at least some players play their best when playing for that next contract. It sounds negative I know, but..

Not going to get Linsley or a Nick Martin on a one year deal. But you might get an Edge Rusher to help bridge this year or a CB. Possibly even OG.

Yes, I agree. The higher level / more established players, especially at the premium positions will most likely still get paid. I am hoping from my selfish fan perspective, that many more players sign cheaper one to two year rental contracts, which should benefit teams well underneath the salary cap like the Chargers.

Look for a DB overhaul, a cap friendly extension for MW, and an outside contract for HH which we regretfully choose to not match.
There should be some cuts, yo enable us to be players in FA.

We can sign a Jared Cook on a short term deal and add a Tommy Tremble, Hunter Long, or Pat Freiermuth in round 3.
