Yes, but he is also going to be 32 years old when the season starts - was hurt last year and is not getting better and is in the last year of his deal. Maybe he plateaus. All three of them at best plateau from last year. I may not cut any of them but I will be exploring my options to see if I can use the same money to get better. So its not just scheme, its age, cost for the production.

Yes he is 32 and played in Gus' system last season....which is different than this system which he played in for years. I think that makes him a fit but we'll see. Cant cut everyone. Need some vets on this team too.
Evidently they felt Joseph didnt fit well as Staley doesnt use the bigger boys on his DL. Davis being resigned or not will be big as well. If not then our CBs could be depleted. Havent heard a thing about Davis.
