RIP coach, what a great man he was. Will never forget him getting emotional talking about LT after he broke the touchdown record in 06. Can't find it right now or I would post it.

RIP, Marty was part of a dying breed. Old School coach who was special to watch. Got the best out of many.

I was surprised at how much I liked Marty as our HC. Loved seeing him work with players in training camp. RIP Coach. You were special.

And every year that goes by - I miss him more and more. It was a damn shame they fired Marty after that season. Yes, Marty crapped the bed that game as coach. They shouldn't have ever attempted a pass in the second half (and I know about McCree, the head butt 15 yarders) - but what really lost that game was them not running it more often.

Aside from that - just a helluva football coach which the team has been lacking for 15 long as MFing years!!

RIP one of the greatest ever, we miss him so much, letting him go was the worst mistake Deano and his crew has ever made to this organization.

Very well said.. It’s ironic, but that was the year Marty should have stuck to Martyball! That team was certainly built for it. I think it was Cam Cameron’s play calling that did them in that year.

Great leader and even a better person.. RIP Marty.

That is outstanding player development and great teaching.

One of my Fav HCs. He had back luck in the playoffs but was nails in the regular season. Would of liked to keep him had he not insisted his brother be our DC.
Its terrible that we cant get a cure for these deseases.
