  • 2021 Pro Day Predictions and Discussion

It’s almost March and we’re all chomping at the bit for pro days and measurables for our favorite prospects.

Thought it’d be fun to have a thread where we can make predictions and see how close we get.

    Ja’Marr Chase: 4.45
    Jaycee Horn: 4.51
    Patrick Surtain II: 4.53

That’s an outstanding time for KVJr. I believe it too. Think he ran the 100M in like 10.07. That’s some world class speed.

40's are cool. Just dont want them to run slow. 10 Yard, more mportant for explosion. 3 Cone for agility.

Height, weight for certain possitions. We can see who plays fast and who dont. Darrisaw, dont lol. But he still has talent. Can he be coached up is the bigger issue.
Javonte plays fast so if he runs a 4.5-4.55, im good as he is 220 lbs.

I wont make any predictions. a projected 4.38 for Stokes for example for me wont matter if he only runs a 4.45

Chuba should run a god time too for the RBs.
            13. Rashawn Slater / Christian Darrisaw/ OT
            47. Javonte Williams / RB / N. Carolina
            77. Ifeatu Melifonwu / CB / Syracuse
            97. Kendrick Green / OG / Illinois
            118. Elerson Smith / Edge / N. Iowa
            159. Caden Stern / S / Texas
            185. Tre McKitty / TE /Georgia
            198. Cam Bynum / CB / Cal
            241. Micheal Strachan / WR / Charlston

He ran the lead leg on LSU’s record setting 4x100 meter team.
Most importantly, he plays that fast. He has some things to clean up but can’t see him making it out of day 2.

Yeah, to be honest I don’t really care if a prospect runs a 4.45 instead of a 4.38 either. I’m just bored and thought this would be a fun way to test our “scouting eyes.”

I even thought about making a game outta this:

Pick 10 of your favorite prospects, predict their 40 times, and whoever’s off by the least accumulated time wins.

At the least, it’d give us something to root for during pro days.

I still like to see the 40's even if it isn't everything

I don't think pro days will be broadcast so just seeing the results is going to be cool.

You don't want to be high on Slater and have him only do like 15 reps lol.

With no combine its better than nothing.
