I've always said I like JJ.

Arguably our best rushing RB but he just can't stay healthy. Even his rookie year he missed three games and and played sparingly. Missed 9 his second season and missed 7 last season. Been very good when he has played but need a healthier option.
Maybe he will stick one more season if Lombardi likes him but surely we will draft a stockier RB.

Joshua Kelley has good vision, patience and a physical play style
hes not elusive, so ask him to use those skills to press the line, find the lane, one cut and go.
      G-Ro knows.

Kelly had a solid preseason and first 4 games but had 2 fumbles lost. Then lost some confidence and his touches dropped by week 7. He was very inconsistent thereafter. What happened?

Possibly some changes for good (emergence of Herbert being focal point) and changes for bad (losses piling and Lynn/coaching staff not knowing how to provide a balanced attack combined with a really good Herbert). Then when Ekes returned Kelly really had not gotten touches. In the first 8 games Kelley was effective in the passing game. Did not get targeted in the redzone which was a missed opportunity plus again Ekes came back.

look for RB hidden gems Rd 5 thru UDFA. Don’t spend a 1-4 pick on RB, fix the line so all RBs can succeed.

Not sure on Kelly yet - the OL was really quite shitty at blocking last year. Agree with most on JJ, he’s not THAT talented to overlook his constant unavailability. Ballage has to go - he had one good game with us, his first. Everything after was disappointing.

Lombardi won’t mind him. He will complete our stable

NFL Rumors says LAC/49ers are quite interested in Todd Gurley.

You might remember, when the Rams drafted Gurley, that was when TT decided he needed to trade up for MG III.

                        Hmmmm.

Awful trade up. TT gave the Niners THREE picks to just move up TWO spots in round 1...Bolts moved up from #17 to #15, Niners get #17 (used to pick Arik Armstead), got our 4th rounder that year, and a 5th rounder the following year...all that just for moving up just TWO measly spots! TT in panic mode...
