Some of the nitpicking on Slater is pretty bizarre to me. He is a HUGE upgrade to what we have and was rated as a close second to Sewell by an awful lot of people (and even higher by some like Jeremiah). It is a massive upgrade at our biggest position of need. Some of the guys taken after him have much bigger question marks than him. We don’t know how it will turn out but he is the guy I hoped we would get since I thought Sewell would be gone, and we got him without having to trade up.
