Hes not actually hurt is he? I thought the coaches are saying its just being careful and he would be playing if it was the season already.

Yeah, sounds like they don’t want something minor to mushroom on them. Wise move.

Also I think the "prove it or move it" situation for Norton and Pipkins could have played a part.

Better now than in the middle of the season.

But I don’t think it’s fair to put Norton in the same pit of despair as Pipkins. They’re both liabilities, but Pipkins’ level of liability is “safety-level”, which, for a tackle, is the worst level of them all.

Yeah, Norton showed better than Pipkins. That's what was being evaluated. Pipkins' last stand.

Pipkins. The name sounds like it belongs to an animated mouse in a Disney movie.

I won’t even get into how the name “Fluker” sounds.

Guys with powerful sounding names (Ramczyk, Armstead, Okung, D’Brickashaw, Roaf, Ogden) belong at that position.

                Yup like Pipkins longstocking?

                  Lol, something like that.

Of course I’m just joking about the names. I do think Walker Little will have success if he stays healthy. Greg Little is another story.

                    Fallers

Dan Feeney, guard: Feeney, filling in for the injured Alijah Vera-Tucker, ended up benched after the Jets failed to convert a third-and-1 in the first half. Not ideal. The Jets need Vera-Tucker to heal quickly. He’s trending in the right direction after doing individual drills on Wednesday and Thursday.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I’m curious how AVT will pan out. I think he was projected to be our pick if Slater was gone.

AVT’s a good safe pick at guard, but I hear he’s dealing with a pectoral injury right now.

Zack Wilson’s gonna need protection. AVT’s backup, Feeney, as we all know, ain’t gonna cut it. And I have the feeling that Zack Wilson’s the kind of QB who will get happy feet after being layed-out a few times.

We need powerful sounding name researchers to put their input in to the scouting.......
