Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

    - 69-74 record
    - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
    - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
    - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
    - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
    - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
    - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

Except Tevi is better than Pipkins. This is some sad stuff.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Their both garbage. I find it hard to believe there can’t be better linemen to be found in waivers.

If there was, the Chargers wouldn't have been trotting out Tevi at a starting tackle position for 4 years.
Tevi at least forces defenders to have to rag doll him to get to the qb.

He also stands up too straight and doesn't lower his hips to get any sort of leverage...ever.

People are going to hang on to any decent OL that they can. The only way we can get better depth is by trading for it IMO. Either that or have dumb luck in finding someone decent on the waiver wire.

Best course is to keep drafting them every year.

A lot of posters on this forum mentioned that rebuilding the OL might be a two year project. The craziness of this year’s FA and the draft may have made us forgotten this reality.
