It does come to that, when a player picked after has a great season. I remember wanting Tua over Justin, just on team production, and who knows where Tua was on the Chargers board, so at least for this season, Miami Fans are going to ask the same question.

Wait are you saying they could've had Herbert + Sweat whom is better than Chase? Damn son!!

0 sacks and 1 solo tackle vs our o-line. Some people in here were scared of Chase Young for nothing.

Not for nothing. He's good, and their front won plenty of battles. We out played and out coached them.

I wasn't too high on Slater initially. Glad to be wrong.

I was arguing here to draft him first pick, but wow, he blew away my expectations, playing so well in his first game against Chase and the rest of the WFT line. Stunning.

I’d agree but tackles never get considered for OROY. They are proven excellent by the lack of negative stats and the award is driven by positive stats. QB has the best chance, then usually a RB or WR in that order if there was no exceptional rookie QB

I am 100% thrilled to also have been wrong. I was tricked by the measurables memes

His brother got a 15 yard penalty on the exact same thing.

Didn't someone say Sewell looked great at LT?

Slater shut Young down. This is a carryover from college.

Slater is a stud, 10 yr starter at LT, TT got lucky Slater fell.

I have gone over this a few times but QB's that run get sacked more that pocket QB's as a rule of thumb. Mobile QB's are great, as they make the ESPN highlight reel but they don't show you the 3-4 times a game the lineman ran the rusher right into the QB because he was not when he was supposed to be, yet they will blame it on the lineman.

The highest single season QB sacks. All of these QB's were considered mobile, Cunningham is the greatest running QB ever and Watson is considered a great runner as well.

Maybe they said that cuz he was absolute crap at RT in preseason, so i guess in comparison he looked better at LT.
Also as per their coach, he settled down as the game progressed. But at that point mercy rule was in tact cuz the SF was up like 38-10.
