  • Welcome Larry Rountree III, RB Missouri (Pick #198)

    Pre-Draft Analysis

Rountree is a downhill runner with average size and above average contact balance. He's quicker on tape than his pro day testing would suggest but he's not a home run threat. He also tends to be impatient and open up before his blocks are set. He's willing to step up and he's competitive in pass protection. -- Steve Muench

I'd like a real bruiser here instead of just another average RB.

Pick is like the draft... no D.

Cb, edge, lb.... I'm not sure what you're talking about by no D.

              Larry Rountree III RB, MIZZOU

              Height: 5-10, Weight: 210

Has the feet and multiple-cut ability to be a quality RB2 in the NFL. But the vision and patience are severely lacking. Cranked up to 100 mph on every run. Sometimes that's good, other times it's not. Lot of bodies in the RB room with Chargers. (Chris Trapasso)
              C+

Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Yeah, watching this he can break tackles but he's not going to burn anybody with speed.

He had the second most carries in Div 1 after Najee Harris. I think he can take a RB slot at the expense of a recent draftee. I have no idea on how good this guy is.

2/4 surfboards. Might become a rotation back. Brings toughness and experience.

Seems like a special teams pick.
