all yesterday did was the following

    1) showed kellen moore should not be head coach in waiting

    2) herbert has not dependable running game and too many dropped passes

    3) chargers will charger themselves out of atop 10 pick - yesterday was fools gold

Staley and Telesco still need to go

The OL has to play better. We have sunk a ton of resources into it and they still aren't very good. Granted, we miss Lindsay, but everyone but Slater makes a lot of mistakes. Most of the time, when an offense is inconsistent, it is because the OL can't get the D blocked regularly. And that certainly describes our OL.

We need some more help with the skill positions. If we had Mike Williams and Palmer back, I think we would be OK, but Allen can't do it alone and Kellen Moore is having a hard time getting the ball to Eckler in the passing game. But Williams is out, Palmer is not ready to be a true #2 WR yet, and that is the best we can say. We either need more help at WR or a TE who can be a receiver. Everrett is a better version of Virgil Green, a great athlete who you have to manufacture production with because he can't get open downfield (but he isn't as good a blocker). Parham is a nice #2 TE but hasn't shown much more than Everett, except in the red zone. QJ and Davis may both make nice weapons but both are pretty raw.

If I was Moore, I would put Ekeler in the slot/3rd WR when we go 11 personnel, play a lot of 2TE stuff (use Ekeler at RB in 12 personnel, run a lot of boot action and bring the TE across the formation on crossers or delay releases.

It’s hard to follow this team much less watch them try to execute. They have a high first rd QB, 2 first rd WR and a vet WR better that all combined, a vet RB that with Rivers looked like Sproles. On defense 2 potentially HOF Passrushers and a safety who thinks he will be.
    What’s the problem?
The players know this organization is just a paycheck until they get a better job. This team changed after the second half beat down in Jacksonville PO game. Charger did clean house and look what they produced this year. This team is done, Full rebuild should happen but will not due to Ownership.
‘they still made a ton of money.

nothing changes until fans stop going to charger games.

look how amazing the SF looked with MR. IRRELEVANT Brock Purdy against the no1 team in NFL Eagles.

this team is nowhere near Chiefs, SF, Eagles…..

    Has Herbert peaked already?

It's been two consecutive tough seasons, and a playoff blowout.

Go 2 - 15, and some teams will pass if he's looking for a new job.
He doesn't want his options reduced to Carolina and Washington.

Now, if BB thinks Bailey Zappe gives him the best chance to win, that's another story.
Anyone watching the 2023 NE can see the QB he has. Their better question is how can they get him to coach but not select players. Some teams will pass on his price tag before his 2-15 record.

    Add: O’Brian is a horrible hire. That’s a concern - I don’t want him anywhere near Herbie

If Zappe had thrown it to them, they might have. A good QB would have beat us today.

But, BB and his 6 SB wins , it lowers his market if he has a bad season.......for a change?

    I don't think so

If New England goes 2 - 15, that will dampen the market for BB in January.
    No it wont.
