I’m with you and beats me too. I don’t know he’ll be good. I think he has odds-on chance to be better than Stick, but thats not saying a lot. Those that picking the one GA game out to prove he sucks just aren’t very fair to the kid imo when he was completely smothered by the best defense in NCAA. He did have a hugely successful winning record overall. How about we all look at the playoff game just before that one, where he won and TCU put up 55? He wasn’t great, but he wasnt horrible like v GA.

I’m not close to sold on him being a temp replacement for Herbie, I’m just hunching on the idea he’s a replacement for Stick at this point. Who knows, maybe he’ll surprise and can actually play.

btw - QJ put up >150 yards and a TD in that TCU-UM game for those that were worried he’s shut down in big games. The semi-final was a big game

I really feel lombardi was a huge culprit. I am excited to see this offense run. I'm on the fence with Staley. He is firmly on the hot seat.

Anxious to see what Kellen can do. Don’t forget Mike McCarthy’s background is as an offensive coach before HC so we’ll need to see what Kellen’s learned and can do on his own. McCarthy must have liked him initially tho because he kept him on when he got hired.

I read that Mike wanted to take over offensive play calling in Dallas. Kellen was calling the O in Dal for better or worse.

Lombo had a clean slate when he came to L.A.: he did pretty much what he wanted to do.

You know that EVERY OC has screen and flare routes to the RB that are “1 yard” - or even negative yards? Even Moore.
