Should have sold out because obviously they were going to run the damn ball, Stevie Wonder even seen that.
This is what I was thinking.
    So many questionable decisions.
    I really dislike Lamebo offense.
Any chance at getting rid of him.

So fire a 1st year coach, who did have a winning record, pay his entire contract, then hire a guy with a career losing record, who has already proven he can't win shit?

The issue of concerns are basically everything else you mentioned such as the huge letdown against the Texans. And the defensive struggles. It felt like we lost last night not because of the TO at the end or the 4th down decisions but because of the 3rd and 23 conversion by the Raiders. That play encapsulates our issues this year specifically third down defense and run defense at the end. Especially with all our guys healthy defensively for this game.

Edit: here’s the analytics for last night’s 4th down decision.

Sorry, it is never going to be the right choice to go for it on 4th down inside your own 20 yd line, unless it's in the final minutes and you absolutely have to score on that drive or it's over. But in the middle of a game with the score close, the right call is always going to be to punt the ball. You don't risk turning the ball over to your opponent and let him start a drive inside the freakin' red zone. That is absurd.

I don’t think we should have gone for it either. But it’s who Staley is. And maybe we have to live with some of these choices if it means more wins in the long run. And most importantly, it’s not the reason we lost last night.

But it did contribute to the loss. It gave the Raiders 3 cheap points. If the Raiders had been without those points at the end of regulation, the Chargers would have won. I don't think Staley is going to be a head coach for very long if he continues to make decisions like this one, and the decision not to kick a field goal on 4th down at the end of the first half in the Chiefs game.

Against Cleveland we went down by 2 TDs early in the second half and Staley went for it on 4th down inside our own 30. We made it and scored a TD on that drive and arguably saved the game. That was down 2 TDs. We were only down 3 here. I couldn’t believe he went for it. Worse was the play call

correct. the mentality around here sometimes is that 3 points are nothing. sheeet...1 point is all you have to win by...or lose by.

the un-spoken factor is the momentum which is so big in football. A fumble...an interception...a stop on 4th down. game changing.
